It crashes my browsers after a while.

I can't get the shopping cart to function.

I wonder if soemone with a mac has a setup that works?

My mac runs Mac OS 9.1, tried Explorer 5.1.5, Netscape 6, Opera....

I get lots of Java errors, is it a issue? What can I do about it?

Thanks for your help!

Joey - I have noticed that the EroDVD site now crashes my browser (Mozilla under Linux). This has only started happening since about 3 or 4 weeks ago - they must have "improved" their site, as it used to work fine for me.

I have another browser on my setup, and that does the site fine, but I'd rather they fixed it. Perhaps I will contact them and report the bugs.

I find that the site starts to render OK, then when it loads all those Java applets then it kills the browser. They really need to streamline that site anyway, it is too bloated.

Unfortunately to get the latest software I have to upgrade to OS X...

Oh well I guess I'll continue to fax my orders...

timotei,

i run Netscape 6 on a windows platform and there are similar issues with that freezing thing if viewing erodvd.nl pages.

anyway, i noticed it isn't really freezing, instead it takes a very long time to complete the site rendering so it looks like the program has crashed. check it out.

cheers, waterproof

As you indicate, you will need to upgrade to OS X. I'm running 10.1.5 using IE 5.2.3 for OS X and have had no problems.

It all seems a shame that EroDVD's customers are being inconvenienced because the site is too fussy about using the latest and greatest software. Especially when their site used to work fine as it was before - this latest change seems a retrograde step...

My other browser (Konqueror on Linux) uses the same Java VM that Mozilla uses, as I only have one on my system, and it renders the site fine. So I don't really know what is causing this problem - perhaps?

Yeah site is a pain, if they hadn't such a great selection, low prices and free shipping, I wouldn't bother with them....

Another question, does their "secure ordering" actually working now? Tried on a PC at work a while back and it didn't go in the secure mode at all during the ordering process
