Even though most adult vids are produced very quickly, there is usually a several month gap between production date and release date. This sucks for a couple of reasons. As an example, I'm watching Oral Consumption 5, and see a new girl named Danly Haze. She had that look that I can only describe as lusty, which I hadn't seen in a new girl since Christy Parks. I did a search at the adult film database, but didn't see any listing for her, which didn't surprise me.
The bummer is that if one of the posters here at Adult DVD Talk wants to recommend a new girl to the powers that be, there is a pretty goood chance, she has already done her 2 or 3 months of work and has already left the business.
I don't really see this problem going away soon,and I really can't think of a solution, but it sucks anyway.
As a rule, production date is the date the production is completed,which is necessary to comply with USC2257 and CFR75. Since duplicators and replicators generally need several weeks lead time because of their workload,and some companies will sit on a movie for a while and release it when the market is at it's strongest,(for example,winter is a better time to release a quality movie because the weather is cold, and people are more apt to sit home and curl up with a good porno than in the summer when everyone is at the beach!) thus,the gap in production/release dates. Production also goes up in winter because many producers "stock up" on product to survive the summer slump in sales. Also, the availabilty of talent is stronger because they need Christmas shopping money! Summer is not good for talent or producers. So, with winter fast approaching,and to the millions of porn fans around the world, LLLET'S GET READY TO JERK OOOOOOOOF!!!!!(apologies to Michael Buffer...)

Yupp... I had the same reaction when I saw her for the first time in POV Pervert #6. Much like Christy Parks, it's that "real" sexy girl look.
