I've been wondering about the following subject for a while now, but have been too embarrassed to ask, for fear that I might be the only one who didn't know the answer. But, here goes:

Why do people shave their genitals instead of using a hair removal cream of some sort? Doesn't a cream get into more nooks and crannies and wrinkles (like, say, of a ballsack, or the "t'aint" area), whereas it would be much more tedious with a razor? And wouldn't the cream keep the hair away for longer? Thing is, all I see are references to "shaving", "shaving", "shaving". Is there some sort of health risk I don't know about (like, the danger of depilatory cream getting into those tender mucus membranes?)

I've shaved my pubes a couple times, and it was so much work getting all those pesky hairs (especially on the balls), I'd never want to keep that up week after week... So I wondered if I could do a cream instead, and just give it the required seven minutes (or whatever), and voila!, smooth as a baby.

Is this advisable?

Also, on a related note, ever since I shaved myself bald that first time, the hair has grown back all straight, stiff and wirey, not soft and curly like before. Somebody tell me there's a way to get it back to soft or at least curly. Do I have to give myself a little pube perm?? THANKS. (btw, I've seen many porn stars with this wirey look too, after having shaved. I wish someone would warn people that you'll never get it back soft and curly, if that's indeed the case. It's not fair, especially to young people who just do it out of experimentation. Cuz they're then stuck with stiff "beard-crotch" the rest of their lives)...
