Is public funding used in the Czech Republic and in Hungary? OTOH, I am aware of that there was a debate or rather an outrage in some tabloids in Germany about why a culture festival got city or provincial government funding. (Philharmonic Orchestras also get sponsorship from various enterprises and do play at festivals with public funding, but maybe I was just too stupid to get the difference). [Link] |
