Does anyone watch it. It seems to be a fairly insular industry that only focuses on quebec and french speaking europe. Pegas Productions is basically the Brazzers of quebec though it does not seem that known outside of quebec.

The funny part of calling anyone the Brazzers of Quebec is the fact that Brazzers used to be headquartered in Montreal, IIRC.
Also, I want to say that the Lane sisters are the only performers I can think of that broke out to the point of shooting with other companies outside of that area.

^I guess you haven't been watching porn for a very long time or don't care for past performers because I'm about to educate you on how many performers come from Quebec. Here goes a quick list of Quebec born performers in no particular order: Lanny Barbie, Sweet Nicky, Amy Lee, Shelby Belle, Judy Star, Kimberly Franklin, Vanessa Gold, Kelly Summer, Melissa Doll, Anna Nikova, Patricia Petite, Jay Star, Lara Roxx, Alexia Knight, Leanna bacci and I could actually go on. Needless to say that if we expand that list to include all of Canada then it's going to take me a long time to right all their names and I can assure you that you have masturbated to many of their scenes.
I tend to avoid Quebec produced porn for one major reason. Too many of their performers are inked to a level that I don't enjoy. It also doesn't help that many of their productions are subpar in quality.

^ pat, I saw this thread earlier in the day and was going to post with a reminder that at one time Quebec had a booming adult industry and that some of the Quebec talent crossed into US porn. I also think you're right to note that someone younger than mid-30s may not remember the heyday of Quebec porn. The peak was probably about 15 years ago with all of the stars that you mention having retired long ago. I was a huge fan of many of the Quebec stars. Amy Lee was easily my favourite though Melissa Doll and Shelby Belle were close too.
Two of my favourites you didn't mention (and probably because they didn't shoot as much) were a woman who went only by "Angel" and Christine Young. Angel has a scene in a 2001 Diabolic title called "Cream of the Crop" with Erik Everhard. That scene is still a favourite of mine all these years later. Christine was mostly softcore and lesbian if my memory is correct. I think I still may have what I downloaded from her website many years ago though the quality would be pretty much unwatchable now.

I don't much mind ink and find that it fits the personality more often then not. Quebec has a more sexually organic liberal culture where the ink just fits that cultural mosaic.

^I don't think that's why they use condom. I think they use condom because at the end of the day it's safer than doing it bareback. France has had mandatory condom use for years for that same reason. You don't even have to go anywhere else than the good old USA. Wicked has had mandatory condom use in all their productions for over 2 decades and they still require that their performers be tested every two weeks like every other studio.
