Kylie Ireland's debut was in 1993 (Rainwoman 7). Jenna Jameson's debut was in 1994.
BUT many other websites state that Rainwoman 7 was released 1994. AND many websites state that Fantasy Women, starring Jenna, was released 1993. (Still, it is a non-sex movie, so maybe it doesn't count in the first place.)
There is still a major difference between the two legends: Just looking at the year 1994 (and 1993), we find seven Jenna movies and 50+ Kylie movies listed at IAFD. Maybe the AVN people take this to mean that Jenna didn't get things started until 1995? I can't see any other explanation.
Given the confusion that everybody seems to have with the dates, I guess that AVN is just going by the dates that they have, which would probably make Jenna eligible next year.
Does anybody doubt that she will be a first-year unanimous inductee?
Now that you guys mention it, I am SO confused... I am pretty sure I got into the industry in late 93. My first movies (shot in the same week) were Cherry Pie (sinCity) and Randy west's Up N Cummers 10... If we new the production dates of those we would be golden :)... I can't believe I cannot remeber exactly when I started... LOL such a long time ago! :)
iafd.com has both 'Cherrie Pie' and 'Up and Cummers 10' for 1994, but if Jenna says it was late 1993, I'm more inclined to believe her - she should know.
Dick Freeman publishes Batteries Not Included magazine as well as reviews for Adam Film World and the purpose of our meeting last night was to finalize his list of BNI Hall of Fame and you are in for 1994.
I got my boob job after I was in films... I was natural for quite a few of my films. Actually the very first film I ever did was by Andrew Blake, and it was a soft core film called Fantasy Women. That would definitely be in 1993. I also did an interactive cd rom called electric swing in 93. and I was on the cover of AVN for that in 93 I believe!
Thats great news, Den! Keep me updated! Email me if you need anything!
I was mistaken on another board Im on! Thats y I asked!
(post edited -sorry but i can't allow people to promote other message forums here - it snowballs out of control quickly. please email jenna instead. thanks, steph)
I just had a quick look at Cherry Pie . Unfortunately there's no production date given on either the opening or closing credits (not a requirement prior to July 1995). Interestingly, Jenna's name is given first in the closing cast credits, followed by others, and then followed by "and introducing Kylie Ireland as....". Of course, we've seen performers in "....and introducing" roles for many months. But this does indicate that Kylie's and Jenna's beginnings are very very close. (My database indicates 1994 for both Cherry Pie and Rainwoman 7 but this may indicate year of release and not year of production).
At a recent panel discussion in New York about the documentary about "Deep Throat", your publisher, Judith Regan, made a statement about you. She said you told her that you feel "miserable" about your life due to your porn career.

Funny that Jenna and Kylie both appeared in Cherry Pie and Up and Cummers 10. Maybe Kylie remembers the production dates?
By the way, I just stumbled over an interesting interview with Jenna from the Wicked days:
What was your first film (for which company)? Who was the first person you worked with in a sex scene? Tell us about it.
Up n Cummers 10 and 11 were my first movies with Randy West, they were really great. I also did two movies for Sin City called Cherry Pie and Babydoll. They weren't such good experiences, simply because I didn't like the people I worked with and they weren't the kind of quality movies I wanted to be making.
I remember working with sweet Kylie that first time... She was brand new also. She had only done like two movies before that one. So we had to have started at approximately the same time!
Yeah it's been such fun watching both young ladies we first saw with Randy blossom into such beautiful women!! It was my pleasure to meet you both fairly early in your careers in 1996 and you both have only gotten better with the years. I hope other faves of mine like Ariana, Melissa, Katja, Kami all have such lengthy and successful careers as you both have had!!

Jenna,
What would be the chances of you or your company doing a bi movie containing both male and female bisexuality? There are so many excuses made by the straight porn industry for not wanting to touch these sorts of movies, it's ridiculous. With a good director (Chi Chi La Rue?) and you on the cover, Jenna, it would be a smash hit.
Wow, I have no reasonable explanation as to why Jenna isn't in the AVN Hall of Fame yet. They must not have her correct starting date or just don't realize it...which is not a reasonable explanation.
First, I can't believe that Jenna ever looked at the body in those pictures and said to herself "I need a boobjob"
Second, I used to have the same comforter and pillowcases on my bed. If I was going to have something from that picture on my bed, I would have preferred that "something" to have been Jenna.
I agree with you Bill, I wish I had never had my boobs done. It was just something a sill 19 tear old did without thinking it through! It so funny for me to see myself that long ago, it seems like yesterday!
I know this is off topic but I have a question. I read somewhere that Jenna's company will be shooting Hardcore Gonzo style porn soon. Jenna or anybody else that knows for sure, is this true?
Hi Jenna, since you are responding to posts in here I would like to take a moment to tell you how much I've enjoyed all of your movies that I have seen. I think that you are one of the most beautiful women in the world with a great body as well, I like your boobs the way they are too. Well, I like them big so maybe I'm biased. :)

I really think AVN should drop the requirement that "the applicant must have been a member of the adult entertainment industry for a minimum of 10 years." I mean, imagine this sensational performer who brings the whole industry to a new level. And then she quits the whole industry after say 8 years. Would this mean that she will never be eligible for the Hall of Fame? Or will they make an exception just for her?
To make the example more concrete, suppose that Jenna herself would have left the industry say two years ago. How would that have affected her future Hall of Fame status?

Hmmm, there must be something wrong with this test.

The compatibility between Britney Spears and myself: Intellectual 100%
Yes, there is certainly something terribly wrong with this test.
No doubt that Jenna belongs in the hall of fame. The only reason I can think of Kylie being in and her being out is if Kylie did a few movies that got out faster than Jenna's did. Dec. versus Jan. would make all the difference.

I am sure you don't care about wrestling because if you did you would probably know what they are but: ECW was Extreme Championship Wrestling it was an ultra-violent league popular in the late 90's early 00's. Jasmine St Clair made a few guests spots as a valet. The League was bought by Vince McMahon of the WWE. Beluah was in WCW (another league also bought by WWE) and she even has a masturbation video out (Not bad). Does that sum it up canadianjersey?
