Are anabolic, diabolic, and gonzo the only compaines who have macrovision protection? I know Hustler, private, valentine don't. Which others do?

I know Metro does. They put a "CP" logo, which states the dvd is copy protected, on the back of their dvd box covers. I've never tried to play any dvd thru a vcr so I don't know about any other companies.

I think DVDs have two types of copy protection, don't they? One type to stop vcr copying (macrovision), and another type to stop dvd to dvd burning. I don't have a problem with companies wanting to protect their product from being pirated, but the region locks are total bullshit in my opinion.

And the true bullshit part is that regional locks, Macrovision and other security measures don't stop the pirates for a second. The only people inconvenienced are the legitimate users. I wish I had a dime for every computer game that I've legally purchased and yet needed to find a crack for to get it to run right. I wonder why I bother buying things if I need to turn to hackers to be able to use them properly.
