Please anyone answer this if you know. On the Private 6 Box Set packaging do you recieve the dvds in their original jewel boxes sealed or do they have a different container for them. The reason I asked is because I own some of the titles already and would like the rest but it is cheaper for me to buy the set, rather then individualy. I would like to sell the ones I don't need and more people tend to buy if the dvds are sealed.

If anyone could help me out it would be appreciated, Thanks

AJ661,

Welcome to the forum.

When I bought the Private "life of" series, the two discs would come in a single package designed to hold the two discs.

I doubt very much that you would get each individually wrapped and sealed. However I can't state it 100% because I haven't picked up the Private 6 Box Set.

If you're talking about the Private-Penthouse box sets, they are in special packaging (basically a Digipak case with 6 spindles in a multiple-fold configuration). So no, you wouldn't be able to sell the ones you don't want. I handled it the other way -- got the set and sold the individual ones I already had.

It comes in a fold out case (as Saki mentions) with all the discs in one handy package. Buy it and sell your individual discs, is my advice. Bought mine from Bargain Adult DVD, so good cheap price too. Will buy the second box set soon!

My only gripe, and at present it is a major one, is that one of the discs is scratched and won't play properly in any of my dvd players. My cousin got a Buffy season packaged the same way that had one disc of the set faulty, so the spindles of these sets can cause a problem.

Will try to fix it (using silver polish) but if that doesn't work, what does anyone recommend? Don't want to have to send back the whole set for one disc to be replaced -- postage to and fro wouldn't be that cheap -- but has anyone just sent back ONE scratched disc from a set for replacement, instead of the whole set? How do adult retailers deal with this, does anyone know?

Any info would be helpful
