really want to join rickys room. however, when i get to the credit card entry page there is a standard pre checked cross sale which i uncheck. no problem. but at the top there is a banner that says mega bundle 30 days free to gotfilled or a number of alternating websites depending what day you sign up then it says reoccurs at 29.whatever a month. there is no way to opt out or uncheck the banner. nothing happens when you click on it and its not listed with the other cross sale. that seems shady and i dont see an easy way to cancel so i am not joining. is there any way around this? literally trying to hand them my 30 dollars but wont because i am afraid i will be sucked into an additional charge that i dont want which i have no way of stopping.

There's a "No, thanks. I don't like free stuff." checkbox on the initial join page, before you go to checkout.

yep they got it wedged in smaller print under a giant collage of pictures and just above a giant red join now sign. very narrow spacing between the collage of pictures and giant red box but its there.

Lexifan - I've been a member and Ricky's Room is a good site. Apart from the questionable billing practices, there's another issue too. At least there was when I was a member there. I don't remember what company RR is affiliated with, but I recall it might be Radical Cash. If so, sites affiliated with that company (my guess is that the company provides websites, technical and billing services for independent sites) say clearly on the tour pages that they offer unlimited downloads, when they don't. I've subscribed to multiple sites that use Radical Cash and they are all the same - there is a download limit. For some of the sites I've joined, the limit is 25 downloads per day, but for most, it's only 10. Keep in mind too that the limit is the number of downloads and not the amount of data. My experience was that I was cut off after 10 downloads whether that was 10 photosets at 200 MB each or 10 4K videos at 3 GB each.

Things may have changed, but I doubt it.

I'm not trying to dissuade you from joining - it is a good site - but I just want you to know that you may find a download limit.

^^^ thanks for this. 10 downloads a day is pretty meager. he has less than 200 videos so you could download them all in a month easily however, that is a lot of work going back every day and downloading 10 at a time. may still consider joining because the content looks so great but will keep all of this in mind.
