Not a contract to only work with a certain production company for a length of time, but a contract between the producer & the talent?? Thanks in advance. [Link] |

Is this true? So I guess this contract which is signed pre-shoot just specifies acts required to be performed, compensation, etc? Cheers |

Initial date time location of service 3. compensation 4.consent 5.work for hire 6.assignment of other rights 7.further actions 8.derivitive works 9.ownership of resulting intellectual property (that has a-d sub points) 10.approval rights 11. waiver of moral rights 12. enforcement of rights of publicity 13.acknoledgement of nature of performance 14.waiver of liability 15.acknowledgement of imperfect accuracy of health tests 16 performer warranties 17 no use or employment obligations 18 no joint venture partnership or agency relationship 19 miscellaneous 20 age and tax responsibility certification 21 acknowledgement of binding agreement then a page with sigs for performer witness producer and the test results naturally those are just overview bullet points, they do not reflect any specific company and are not intended to be used as a model release, I posted them to give you an idea of what topics are covered on an average model release in my experience, it is a legal document and what I just posted is just my uneducated internet post and should not be interpreted as a legal document, or an outline for a legal document, it's for entertainment purposes only |

I don't know any performer who ever reads a model release. You just fill in the blanks. Some paperwork includes "witness" and "STD testing", some doesn't. Some companies insist on the model to fill out everything personally. Some fill it out themselves and the model just signs. Steve Holmes |
| Maverick Koltrain Member you can buy it, if you want it. 44 Posts 12/07 | Maybe Steve or Brandon can tell you about the occasional new performer who reads every single word, does not understand anything and it takes 30 minutes to fill out the forms. After a while, they quit reading and just sign. Cheers. Arizona |
