Advantages:

1. Belgium has tighter regulations (but not really enforced) Spain and Denmark are about the same regulationwise, but the good thing here is you do not have to hide what you do for a living at all. All my friends and family know what I do, we discuss work freely in the bar after work.

2. Postage prices within the EU do not make much of a difference.

3. Compared to the UK banking is cheaper here, and we never had a problem with banks or creditcard companies here.

Disadvantages:

1. Never a problem for us, we never send anything (not even a letter) to the customers from here, it gets mailed from within the UK by Royal Mail. Details of how we do that can not be discussed on an open board of course.

2. Rent in the center of Amsterdam is skyhigh indeed (allthough London is still worse), but we moved to the outskirts of Amsterdam some years ago and now we have more roome for less money. And if you go outside the west part (the Randstad) it's even cheaper.

So, what kind of stuff did you shoot in Thailand? We are always looking for new material...

The 'hook' is i also got some of the girls who appear in this film to make an amateur porno with me (obviously for extra $$$). These are seperate dvds....2 or 3 girls on one film.

The normal bar footage sells well on ebay (especially with Thailand taking off as a holiday destination)...and any buyers are offered the chance to purchase the rude stuff seperately.

This year i took 2 camcorders out to get 2 angles...but i'd really need to get a second person (perhaps another Thai girl!) to do the filming.
It is extremely amateurish (so i'm not sure if it is worth trying to market at this stage) but it is something to work on and improve with future trips.

As the 'girly bar' footage has no sex i could probably push my luck and advertise it more extensively here in the UK.
It still remains illegal though as it is 'unclassified'...and i really object to having to pay for it to go to through the BBFC.

Sooner or later (especially with my links to the 'harder stuff' in the credits) i think trading standards would be on my case....and there lies the problem.

Talking of which...is it my responsibility (as a European) to prove a girls age when i sell these films or is it the task of any prosecuting authority to prove the girl was underage?
I understand that 'Yourchoice' being a bona fide retailer would not take the risk.

It seems clear that i would either need to be solely based on the continent (and endure any of the seizures/mailing costs of posting adult dvds to the UK)

or:

I would need a partner who (without going into the details) would either be here in the UK taking care of stock/distribution or to be on the continent running the business, advertising and banking side.

I see a complete contrast between the guy on the continent busy advertisng and promoting the business to the max... and the guy back in the UK who is anonymous and keeping as low a profile as possible!
