From gaydvdreview page, I saw a new release "Sextrap". It was only available from Gamelink. I am pretty sure it's just a pre-order. I watched this one in VHS, it's a Studio2000 release featuring hot Czech guys like Czech Point but with much younger actors.
My question is that Gamelink listed it as released by Paladin. I am wondering is Atomicvideo no longer doing business with Studio2000 anymore? If so, what a great loss to all of us!!! We know Paladin charges outrageous prices that the retail stores have no other way but list those dvds at least $49.99 level. Atomic no only make very fine DVD transfer, but also make online stores able to offer their releases at a resonable price range.
The sign shows Atomic maybe getting desperate, the newest release from them is New Meat#1. New Meat series are simply trash movies that I hate to see them released by such a quality professional business. Oh well, any information on this is very much appreciated.

IF Studio 2000's deal with Atomic has already gone by the wayside, it'll be a big loss to consumers. Still, I wouldn't read too much into a single advance listing from a single retail outlet. Let's hope they've got it wrong!
Sorry to hear about the New Meat series--I had hoped, like yourself, that Atomic was going to stick to the better stuff. Not a good sign.
Anyone else know anything about these possible developments?

Atomic DVDs used to go for $49.99 too - so I wouldn't worry too much about Paladin picking up the line. Once more stores carry Paladin DVDs the prices will go down. Paladin is related to Odyssey - a quality studio. Faron, who has visited our forums many times, is in DVD production at Odyssey and definitely cares what the consumer is interested in.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to give a little info on the relationship between Odyssey Men and Paladin. For years Odyssey only made straight videos, Shane's World, Pick Up Lines, etc. then we decided that it was kind of silly that a company where the owners and upper management were all gay didn't produce any gay product. We started out with some really good gay movies. The only hitch was that we didn't have the necessary contacts to sell them! (You can imagine how well that worked out.) So, we called the biggest and best distributor of gay product at the time, Paladin, and made a deal. We make'em, they sell'em. Falcon has the same deal with Paladin.
I have no idea if anyone's interested in background like this. Just thought I would throw it out there just-in-case.

Thank you Faron for all the background information. It's very helpful. I do hope Odyssey will eventually pick up more distribution channels and make all your excellent dvd releases more affordable to all our fans here.
