But Adamo is still very unique. After watching a few of his films, you will see the consistency. I personally like his mix of beautiful girls (bank on it!), visual transitions and mixes (which you thought were fair) and his more passionate, hardcore approach (compared to Blake) to porn. For me, it is a very effective mix. If you really want to see what I consider some of the best Adamo work, go back and watch Italian Flair , Sex Shot , and Fashion . All of these are very glitzy, glamour heavy affairs that feature some of the most beautiful women in porn. I kind of think of these as almost hardcore vogue magazines . They are somewhat cold and aloof (like a fashion mag), but they are gorgeuous and passionate as well. Anyway, glad to see your review. Maybe one day I'll get the knack for writing truly cohesive in-depth reviews rather than just errant commentaries! I'm really impressed by your abilities. [Link] |

Most of mine is skimming fodder I'm afraid. :) Anyway, yes, I will definitely check out some more Adamos at some point. I really did like it, and was especially stricken with the exceptionally good lighting--which was both functional and tastefully artistic, a combination that is extremely rare in porn. It probably wasn't fair to compare him to Blake, as they really are alot different and have their own merits, but in my mind, that Adamo is even worthy of comparison to Blake's stylistic sensibilities is a compliment in itself. Plus, since that comparison seems be made alot, I thought I would do it for the readers who might be wondering about how the two differ.
