There's also a talent agency that appears to be moving to Las Vegas. Not sure that will work out so well but it appears someone is going to try.

But there is a lot of pressure on the government there to start enforcing this law. And this pressure has just increased a lot due to a new HIV infection of a porn star there. The government there will probably start enforcing the condom law sooner or later. It's just a matter of time before some porn companies end up in court and will have to pay a lot fines. And porn actors who got infected with HIV might even sue the porn companies for compensation. Because any agreement they've signed probably isn't valid, if it contradicts the condom law. The law always takes precedence over any agreement. Judges don't recognize agreements that contradict the law. It's the same as not having any agreement. Which presents a huge financial risk for porn companies and the people who own them. People there might stop making porn films just for this reason alone. Even a single successful lawsuit can ruin them financially. [Link] |
