But it looks like the only shipping method that they use is USPS. I hate the the incompetent communist fuckers who run the U.S. postal system. A lot of the adult material I recieve in the mail has been opened by the time it's deliverred to my house. I usually do business with retailers that offer alternative shipping methods. I'd like to know what kind of packaging XRentDVD uses. and if their web sight says "in stock" for any particular item, does that mean it really is in stock? What are your overall impressions with this company? Thank you  [Link] |

I have had nothing but success and excellent service from Xrent in all the orders that I have placed, and each and every time I have placed an order with them, the items that they say are in stock have been in stock and have been shipped. I also wouldn't be surprised to learn that they are bypassing the local post office and delivering their packages directly to a USPS Sortation Facility. I say this because even taking the same day delivery into account, I always receive my order one day quicker than other stores located on the West Coast (I'm in NY) [Link] |

I too am curious if they are near a major postal distribution center which may account for their speed. Is this their secret Curious was I so looking at my mailer that I just received from them the envelope was postmarked out of Santa Ana, CA. Checking out the USPS website using their return zipcode 92799, I find that indeed, as Bill Broderick and Clay mentioned, this post office is a main postal distribution hub. Mystery solved! Regarding everything else about XRent, BIG selection for rental, reasonable prices on both sales & rentals, very responsive customer service. One criticism though... new popular titles (less than a month old) seem to be chronically out of stock. That's not to say that there isn't anything to rent, titles 2-3 months ago that I had a hard time getting are now more readily available, but damnit I want my Flesh Hunter #3! Might have to breakdown and just buy it. This is no doubt the nature of the rental business, so perhaps call this more of an observation than a criticism. [Link] |

No signing for your package. No picking it up from the management office. The advantage of the "commie" USPS is they can drop this right in your mailbox. [Link] |
