We have beta tested the video on various outputs, straight from the sites servers via apple TV etc and the quality is looking great without being overtly heavy on bandwidth and download times. With regards to the "reality content" that we roll out on Thursday and Friday of each week. Well I'm looking at reducing the "Cum Party Sluts" episodes to once or twice a month from Jan 2011. Heres something I would like to have some feedback on.. When we shoot the content for our Daring Productions "The Informers, Limousine etc, we shoot on 3 static cinematic cameras and cut between them. Some of this type of shooting approach has also been used on a few KG scenes (Horny Sleepers for example) We decided to go back to shooting hard on one camera as we felt it gave a more energetic feel to the KG content and established a uniquely different approach to shooting content for the Daring projects. So my question is. How would you guys feel if we decided to shoot a high quality cinematic series for KIllergram on multiple static cameras? Would this be a welcome addition or do you think that it would be too much of a departure from the current KG style? [Link] |
| woodsy Senior Member 2012 Posts 5/10 | Posted - Dec 29 2010 : 5:45PM I've seen the trailers for your Daring work but not any full scenes (although I will be buying The Informer for sure - do you have anymore info on it and maybe pics?) so I can't really comment on the 3 cameras in those. I did notice the camera switching in some recent scenes and that was ok. Sometimes there was a bit of news presenter style 'which camera am I looking at?' from the girls but I didn't mind that style. It's much better than just one fixed camera as that really does seperate you from the action. If I had to chose I would go for the one moving camera. Like you say its more energetic. You get caught in the action. You can quickly focus in on things like the action would catch your eye if you where actually there. For example catching a girls expression as something happens and - what I really like - going into an almost POV angle for the cumshot especially facials. I think the single moving camera is the only way to shoot porn (except full feature stuff maybe). The big US companies atill use this method and it works for them. I am also a member of the Zero Tolerance / 3rd Degree / Black Ice group of sites and thats the way they shoot their stuff always. Mike Quasar is probably my favourite director and he's always in there with the camera. I think it is too easy to create a distance with a fixed camera that you don't want with porn. Needs to be raw and real and stuck in like you are actually there taking it all in and thats what you get with a single hand held moving camera. Hope that helps Disanto? [Link] |

I also have a preference for the studio style content but we try to keep fans of the raw, reality style happy as well :) Although I have to say that the next two Dogging Missions to be published (Loz Lorrmar 31/21/10 and Scarlet Lovatt 07/01/11 look pretty hot (Considering the snowy conditions:)... We have been concentrating on the direct producer to consumer distribution of content via the web. In doing this, we control the output of our content and bypass the hard copy manufacturing process. It is true that we have discussed a possible distribution deal for KG with Playhouse (our former distributors) but at this time we only work with the Scala Group (owners of Playhouse) in the shooting of some of their Daring Media Content. These titles may be of interest to you as they are released on DVD. The Informers, Limousine and The Honey Trap. are all titles shot by myself and Directed by Anjali. So they have that KG feel in a nice high production value package.
