No response to the quasi treatment which I spewed out for you, after you asked me to?
[dexplorer, temporarily taking his mind away from the rather obsessive following and talking on other forums he's been doing since yesterday about the terrorist attack which occurred not so far away from where he lives or from where he works. Manhattan is rather a ghost town. Everybody's sealed up at home pretty much. Wall St.'s completely closed and downtown's pretty much sealed off.]
You're right again, this time it was an oversight, though. I was bowled over by the post, I didn't come up with anything to say right then, and of course, I was quite distracted shortly afterward. What can I say? I nodded along and said "yep, yep" with some of it, other parts I said "hmmm, ya think so? HmmmmMMmm." I laughed, I cried, I was moved... the world will be a different place for me now. Seriously, it gave me some neat ideas to think about, some of which I had already thought of, others I hadn't. I appreciate it 100%.
Kimi - appreciatin' the daylights outta you

Not true. We love you for your mind, your body, your eyes, your cat, your taste in blue clothing and your plumbing skills!
Didn'tcha know? I'm a do-it-yourselfer. I can solder copper pipe and I installed my own dishwasher. I'm usually good at yard work, too, accident-prone though, it would appear.
Kimi - I can bring home the bacon... fry it up in a pan...
I don't understand... will the drinks be on you because you'll be so shocked that you will gasp and spill your drink all over yourself? How will you manage that with more than one drink? I hope you're not drinking something hot like a cup of tea or coffee - I wouldn't want you to get hurt...
hehehehehehehehehe Kimi - going to get a cuppa tea

Crognabitt! Kimi cracked my joke! This girl is too smart even for my infinite wits!!!
I've been asked a bunch of times "Are there any performers you won't work with?" - and I've consistantly answered "Eric Everhard" since I did the scene for Real Nice Butts (thank you astroknight!). If you've read astro's review you'll notice that he said the chemistry seems off, well... OFF is the nicest way it could be put! I don't know if he was just having an OFF morning or if he just didn't like me, or whatever... but I certainly won't inflict Eric on myself ever again. I asked astroknight to review this one in particular for me (he's such a sweetheart!) because I was very curious about the quality of the scene. This is the only scene I've shot that I didn't have any fun doing, that I wished was over as soon as it started (even before it started I had reservations). I'm a pretty positive person, I can almost always find some good in anything - there was nothing good about that shoot. Well, maybe the learning experience was good... (see, I'm really a positive person!) Why am I rambling on about this? I have no idea... I think I mostly want to advise anyone who might be a fan of mine not to buy it, not because I think it's particularly bad or anything (astro said I still looked okay - I love astro!) but because I always try to do my best in every scene I do, and that time the best I could do was to tolerate something I really wasn't very happy about.
Kimi - still drinkin' NyQuil

Hey Kimi, we're planning to boycott your movies 'til you film with Joey Silvera!
I'm getting scared... Next time I come in here you all will be chanting.JO-Ey JO-Ey Jo-Ey... (I figure you'll chant that, since Sil-ver-UH is much harder to chant. Doesn't have the impact.)
Just wanted to give this excellent thread a bump back up front. I reread it from start to finish and it really is great. I wanted to revisit the music groups Kimi was asked about since music crops up from time to time in the chat room and her responses like people said at the time were thoughtful and really a pleasure to read, except the U2 one, lol. I also wanted to thank Kimi again for what she said the other night in the chat room, the grin is still wide on my face :).
Just wanted Kimi to know I picked up Meddle tonight by Pink Floyd after I got off work and I want to thank her for the recommendation. It is indeed a very well done cd. I have listened to it once and am in the process of my second hearing. I wouldn't put it up there with Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, or the Wall but then again I just got it and it indeed could grow more on me in time. If Pink Floyd isn't in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame it should be, maybe someone will know because I know they are eligible.
It's really a terrific album. Emotively up there in the top 3 on my list. Hopefully you got out the CD jacket and read the lyrics, too. (like most all PF they aren't difficult to understand while listening, but you get so caught up listening that the impact doesn't necessarily get you the first time around) DSotM is my second favorite PF album, not so much because I like it less than Meddle, but maybe because it's just a little bit too open. Too straightforward. Doesn't leave quite as much room for a personal interpretation.
Like I said this cd may grow on me and after the 5th listen through I would indeed put it right there with those other 3 I mentioned. That last song Echoes is a real journey isn't it. I think there must be some kind of subliminal message on this disc making me listen to it over and over, lmao. Seriously, it is always nice to find another great piece of music to listen to and this one is one I will be listening to for a long time.
Yeah that is a good point Kimi. I looked yesterday and that song is like 23 minutes long but you hardly notice because it is so good, however I think the Dazed and Confused track by Led Zeppelin on The Song Remains the Same is longer something like 26 minutes, lol. If I didn't have so many Floyd cds I would definitely think of picking this one up as it does look like a good representation of Floyds work. BTW what do you think of the Animals cd, worth getting or not?
Interesting. I listen to some version of Echoes just about every other day and have for years. The one I've been obsessed with lately is the version on Gilmour's Live In Gdansk DVD. This song is timeless. I wonder if Kimi and BO still listen to it? I've found Floyd is hard to get out of your system once they're there.
