And before anyone attempts to draw a conclusion about me .... I strongly believe that my gravitation towards S/M does have a lot to do with the rape. I have now CHOSEN to put myself in a position where someone is being dominant over me in a situation that I have carefully picked. I also know that I am actually the one in charge in the situation. I don't think I can explain it much better than in my previous post.
If I am the one who tells the man that I want more, I feel physically strong. It doesn't even have to be S/M related - it could simply be a girl wanting to experience something a little more strongly than previously. If I can allow myself to trust a man to do these things to me and trust that he will stop if I ask him to, I feel strong emotionally.
