Banners are the only "paid for" advertising on our site. We do not receive commission when someone clicks through a banner. However, there would be no Adult DVD Talk without advertisers. So either way you're supporting adt.
It's all the same. The shopping cart transfer is only so you don't have to add things twice - just a measure of convenience. The only reasons some stores don't have that option is because they chose not to implement on their end, don't have the time to implement on their end, or they don't have in-house developers.There is some variation, but we don't receive 'special' commission from any of the stores. We get the same as any other of their affiliates. Almost all stores have their affiliate commission publicly available on their sites.Frankly, we would prefer to get the standard commission rate of 10% if that would help stores keep their prices down. Lower prices = more sales - it all comes out the same in the end (except of course that the consumer pays less.)
Depends on how the store's affiliate program works. We provide a means to bookmark stores with our affiliate code on the store info pages.Did I miss anything?
