Okay...in response to your first comment about Selena and Kent needing a raise, trust me we agree. These two are charting a very nice path for themselves on KSEX and their hard efforts and promotional push is really paying off for them with the audience.
KSEX is lucky to have them and we hope they benefit as much from KSEX as KSEX does from them.

Wankus responds: Alexis did have a throat complication that kept her off her show this week, that is true. Olivia was available but even with her amazing personality and her sexy looks, she's only performed in ONE show as a co-host and we felt she was too green to take the lead so early on in her KSEX career. There's no doubt she has an awesome personality but it was just too new for her to man the controls and lead a show after only being on the air ONE TIME. Don't worry, we love Olivia and see the great personality she brings. We will certainly get her more and more involved in more things in the future.

Wankus responds: Yes, there are times that I wonder about this myself but it's a lot easier for you and I to post here more frequently then some of the stars. Some of the talent we have are on set all day, then dancing at night and have no time. Other stars, like many people, are not computer savy and some stars just really don't like the "boards". I mean think about it. For those of us that post on boards a lot, we view it kind of like a club. We can all hang out and express our views or promote our stuff but it's a niche' crowd. Not everyone is into it.
I will tell you this for sure...KSEX has no problem with ADT and I don't believe ADT has a problem with KSEX. We have always mingled well and are not competition for each other. If anything we can help each other out. Not to mention, we are constantly bragging about ADT LIVE on the air, even though we have our own boards.
I look at your question like this...how many HOT up and cumming stars don't even have a website? MANY of them! It's a shame, but some people underestimate the power of the web. I practically BEG my staff to post at least on our own boards but for some I'm sorry to say it'll never happen. For others like Selena, Kylie, Carmen, Alana, Keri Windsor, etc., I think we'll be able to enjoy them for quite sometime. :)

Wankus responds: KSEX began 4 years ago. We were in a closet that we called a studio. We used cheesy radio shack mics and a beat up mixing board with no web cams. The hosts on the station was ME on my own show, ME on an Asian Show, ME on Jacklyn Licks show and LorrAINIAC, our trailer trash show. That was it. I was on the air about 6 hours a night, every night just trying to build on the concept. With the help of loyals like Jackie and LorrAINIAC we have been able to now brag about 40 hosts, most of them big name stars, 21 shows, great equipment, 3 camera state of the art quality with a switcher for web cams, T-1 streaming and a very nice size studio/soundstage that works out perfectly. We're now producing adult DVDs and are involved in other projects that have KSEX seen on cable TV around the world. All the host are paid and they receive other very ood perks and bonuses, not to mention they LOVE being there and it's great promo for the hosts and the guests.
So, in answer to your question, yes, I believe KSEX will be around for a while and I'm looking forward to the pay off of working my tail off for 4 years for practically no money. [GOTTA BELIEVE! :) ]
A C writes: #4. With Howard Stern commenting constantly about in the next couple years leaving regular radio and going to Satellite radio(XM or Cirrus). Is it possible that KSEX may go in that direction if they allow adult material?
Wankus responds: This is an interesting area. You have to keep in mind, a lot of what Stern says is exaggerated BUT there is a lot of heat coming down on mainstream radio right now. I used to work in mainstream, hell, I used to work for Stern. Not everything is as it's presented or appears but I do believe Stern is whining and moaning for two reasons. (1) he has good reason too. Ashcroft and all these other idiots are really making it hard to be creative and (2) I feel he's trying to build the show to a big CLOSE. I think he's done and he's building the momentum to a big dramatic finish that will have fans thinking he had enough when the reality is...he had enough a long time ago. He's got his cash, he's already in the Museum of TV and Radio as a legendary, ground breaking DJ and I think he's going to move on to something less pressure, less work and/or just chill on the beach somewhere and make money with appearances and shit.

Wankus responds: We have ALL kinds at KSEX. Some of our hosts work full time mainstream gigs, then do KSEX at night. Some are porn stars who work on the set by day and then KSEX at night. Most of our HOSTS are part time at KSEX and not there all day but you can count on my waking up at 8am daily and going straight through until at least midnight. We have webmasters and tech guys that put in a lot of hours but in general people come and do their shows and leave. Although it's such a family atmosphere, many times they stay and hang out and have fun behind the scenes. [which reminds me...bathroom cam going up next week! whoo hoo!]
