I saw this film many many years ago on VHS. Last night I bought the ten-dollar digital download version of the film at Gamelink, and was surprised to find that one crucial shot was missing. When Joan (Annette Haven) wakes up and goes to the bathroom to look at herself at the mirror, the VHS (which I still have) has a shot of her pouring a glass of orange juice into the sink. But on the digital download, this shot is missing -- we only see her wake up, go to the bathroom, smile at the mirror, and that's it. That shot is crucial because it shows that she was not drugged by the orange juice (which someone had added a drug into), and that she was awake in bed the whole time. My questions are as follows. Does the DVD edition have the same problem? Or was there some encoding problem with the digital download version? Was there some legitimate reason for the shot being removed?
