I was always more interested in the "amateur" productions (assuming they are good to excellent quality) Though there are so many editions to these sets, is there any advice on DVDs to buy ? What are your recommendations or favorites ? | Saki At-Large 2087 Posts 11/99 | Posted - Jun 21 2001 : 9:47PM While I think Randy's series is vastly better than Ed's, I don't really care for Randy or the cookie cutter pro-am he does (something about girls having their porn debut on the same bed in approximately the same way is a turn off to me). In either case, the only practical way to view this series since there are so many of them is to watch only the ones where one of your favorite stars made their debut. For example, there are volumes with early performances of Shane, Jenna Jameson, Asia Carerra, etc. My opinion on both of these series is that the sex and girls are so hit or miss that you're more likely to be disappointed by picking a random volume to watch. Here are some reviews in the Adult DVD Talk database: I'd probably tend to agree with you that the lack of comments and reviews is because they tend to be crappy. But they've sold a lot of them...at least enough to have hundreds of volumes between them, so someone likes them. Personally, I like the Real Sex Magazine series, but the ones out on DVD, with the exception of maybe #18, are not nearly as good as the earlier volumes that haven't made their way to DVD.
