If the porn guys you are complaining about were true rabbits, the sex in porn movies would last a total of 30 seconds, the time it takes for a male rabbit to go from penetration to climax. Pretty boring, eh? In a rabbit porn scene, the rest of the first 25 minutes of the scene would consist of the female trying to avoid the male at all costs, and him trying to overcome her objections.

I will admit, I have compared Erik Everhard to the rabbit in my avatar, but only because the little guy has the same sandy-colored fur as Everhard's hair, and he's a champion studbuck, who's serviced many a female (and sired many a litter). This camera style must be a signature trademark of RLD; maybe they know that's what their core audience wants, and they're not going to vary it. This I find tedious, more than anything else about an EE-directed film, or a EE scene in a RLD film.

What bugs me most is that the video capture, on even seemingly the highest quality digital cams, is unable to capture the faster movements without a blurring of the edges. It's those sharp edges that I bet a lot of us like to zoom in on and savor. I'm no technical expert, but maybe digital cameras just haven't caught up to Erik Everhard's and Mike Steffano's warp-speed, jackhammer fucking style.

From my watching ~40 movies over the past year, there are darn few gonzo scenes where the woman shows some initiative, and sets the pace of some of the sex action, some of the time throughout the scene. From what I can tell, this is owing to a number of reasons: the age disparity between the woman and man/men (anywhere from 10 to 25 years), the experience disparity between the woman and man, porn directors counting on actresses being compliant, the neverending search for fresh faces, which also means lack of experience, and the increasing emphasis on rougher sex action, nearly all of which is Male-to-Female focused which means the woman has to be even more passive.

The few times I've seen an actress show some initiative (Tera Joy, Vicky Vette, Sandra Romain and Kelly Stafford come to mind) it's due to their being either experienced in porn, or they love sex, or have strong personalities, or all three. I estimate, however, that about 95% of the actresses I've watched are doing as they are told, or what they assume the director wants, or just following what the male actor wants them to do. And yeah, it can get boring. It doesn't help when you see some of the popular actor/directors calling the young actresses Slut, Whore or Bitch right to their faces, either. (Though I don't know if this is the case with this Teagan scene, I haven't seen it.)

A personal observation - Imagine having a thread about/with Teagan, Rabbits, Everhard and Ramsey. It's like a cosmic convergence of the highest order. But will this one reach 50+ pages like the original Teagan thread?

For anyone's info - a female rabbit is not compliant or passive. Given a choice (i.e., out in the wild), she will be picky about who she mates with. Given a choice, she will viciously attack any male who tries to force a mating on her, or even wanders into her territory uninvited. Rabbit sex is not for the faint-of-heart. What puzzles me is that fans like this feel the need to broadcast their dislikes ad nauseum on message boards like ADT. If you don't care for someone, avoid their films. There are some males out there that I can't bear to watch, so I steer clear of them, it's not that hard. Plus, I acknowledge the fact that others fans like their style just fine; I've got no problem with that.

I must admit, there is occasionally a male or female performer that I want to comment on in a less than gracious manner, but I restrain myself. There is a thread running right now on the Porn News forum about an actress that I dislike more than any other actress out there, but I am refraining from posting there, since the title of the thread is not "What I can't stand about So-and-So and why.)

Sometimes I think that certain ADT-ers should have their own personal threads, in which everytime they want to say something negative, they go there and post it. If another ADT-er wants to find out what is currently bugging ADT-er X, Y or Z, they can go there and read all about it.
