Artistic merit be DAMNED-- I am finding out that a lot of people here seem to think that just because a movie has a budget, a script, and some excellent acting that it's neccessary for everyone interested in porn to watch. To me-- in porn, there is an anomoly--movies where the actors have chemistry, but the rest of the movie is awful. That chemistry is one of the main reasons I buy porn. I feel like there's two kinds of movies these days: high budget well shot couples flicks (Pirates) and poorly captured gonzo films where the actors have chemistry (Fashionistas, Corruption) but that chemistry is violent and I'm not really a big fan of either. So Im looking for recommendations from a different viewpoint than most of the reviewers who do list a raincoat factor. [Link] |

IAFD and here, at ADT, are good resources for that. For now, it seems that your criteria is a bit vague and could include any number of genres and degrees of edginess. That being the case, I can't reccomend anything in particular until you've experimented a bit and have a few ideas of what you like more than others. Wanting chemistry is also pretty vague, as chemistry for some is the girl being submissive, or the guy being submissive, or both wanting to kiss, or lots of dirty talking, or noticeable orgasms, or ... ... ... any and everything - totally subjective. Some would even consider the actors being totally detached and just power fucking to be the best example of "doing it right". The Psychosexuals is a classic in my estimation. It might be tough to get on DVD, but early stuff with Victoria Paris, Jeanna Fine, Ashlyn Gere, and so on is worth looking into - I'd defnitely rely on AVN to supply info on that type of material. Sodomania, Pussyman, and even Baby Got Back are all early forms of gonzo-style series that had loads of girls in mutliple scenarios, but scenes tend to be 15-20 min. When it comes to chemistry, humor, scorching sex with rad girls you can't go wrong with the early Seymore Butts work. Shane, Taylor Hayes, Alisha Klass, and then that blonde girl - can''t recall her name - were all phases that each had at least 2 or 3 classic titles a piece. Come to think of it, I may put one or two of those on a to-buy list. Taylor Hayes is so fucking hot!! So is Alisha Klass!! And, hell, Shane too! I tend to have long posts, so I hope that is helpful. It's a matter of degree - you could possibly explain to your girlfriend your stash of Wicked movies, but you'll go out of your way to make damn sure she doesn't find your copy of Miscreants and Fuck Slaves!!
