Just starting a thread on the Ray Guhn situation he is the webmaster of cumonherface.com, just seeing what people think about this ordeal, and this on top of search at Diabolic, may show the powers that be are coming.
Plus is it possible Ray Guhn's content is actually obscene where as most porn is not????
I know some COHF people are on these boards maybe they no the real scoop...
I posted about it a while back, it seemed to go unnoticed. It has to do with an election year, and living in a predominantly Cult like community that is more theocratic (ala Iran) than democratic. The content is no more obscene than any other facial site on the net. It is still filming and will continue to be updated. I just hope Ray, big Jim and the Boys will win without to much hassle. Man is North America warped or what? Sex is taboo but let's embrace violence and accept it and promote it and then wonder why the kids are amm arming themselves and becoming violent. Talk about a bunch of assholes. let's curb sexual activity that is a part of human life but let's not go after gangs etc that terrorize our communities. Kind of like here in Toronto, a gun problem that won't go away, get lip service from our loser politcos, and then a good looking girl gets shot and killed in the crossfire and let's plaster her face all over the media and go after those guys who killed her. Shows how the North American gov'ts work for us. Sex=Bad..Violence=Good. Next they will go after the subscribers to online porn sites and arrest them for having obscene images on their PC. And this is a democracy we live in?
I had to vent sorry, just this type of thing really gets to me and so many people never act to stand up for themselves.

I'm not surprised by this type of prosecution. It does sadden me though. What I believe is happening is where the government cant get you on obscenity they are going to try to get you on prostitution/pandering and RICO charges.
For the most part, it is illegal to film to adult content outside California. And this might be the easiest way to shut down internet adult sites rather than 2257 or obscenity.
I would expect more of these types of prosecutions if those involved actually end up doing jail time.

Geez and isn't Florida the state where pee Wee Herman got caught in a porn theatre? LOL..What is this world coming to? Next thing Bang Bus will get shafted, then 8th Street Latinas, then Street Blow Jobs, the good sites....I wonder if Buffalo will go after Amatuer Facials...may as well move the sites up to Canada, we seem to not have any big things about obscenity here...yet.
There was a huge case here a couple of years ago in BC involving Sweet Entertainment Group. Happily they won thier case after the Vancouver police bumbled their way through the procecution. Plus having arguably the best Adult Lawyer in the biz doesn't hurt either. But either way the obscenity law as I understand it is just about unenforceable here now. If things keep going south, the way they are...down south, I can see a lot of productions heading North. Or across the pond.

Skronk, if they have the right to plaster the Ten Commandments on their government buildings, their citizens should have equal right to purchase & view porn. Otherwise, the old "church & state" concoction has won yet another vote from the rebel states.

It doesn't look good for Ray Guhn and his co-defendents. They are located in the Florida panhandle, a deep South conservative area, and its an election year. I fear they all may lose everything they've earned trying to fight this. All of the charges are bogus. If Ray Guhn loses, the fledgling Florida porn industry may vanish; they'll shoot everything in LA or Europe.
They shoot to kill at abortion clinics there. You're at the borders of Alabama and Mississippi, which is like a portal to Hell. I call it "home," of course, 'cos I love my hush puppies and mah colt beer! Pensacola and the rest of the Panhandle are all fucked up. I used to go to Panama City Beach all the time, the redneck Riviera but all Bible Thumpers there. Although in Pensacola I am sure it would be easy to find women at Cordova Mall to do a porn shoot..lots of babes in that mall I recall and a Hooters right there next to it...but man the Panhandle is all out of whack with bama and Mizzizzippi there too. Met a girl from Mobile once down in PCB, I swear her parents must have been cousins. Also in PCB I couldn't find a porn store anywhere, I wanted to buy some dvd's, looked high and low. Seen them all along I-65 and I-75 on our way home to T.O. at every off ramp to gas stations and food. Man I hope Ray does win this, his site was fun to watch from the early days, back when most of the guys wore some stupid ass masks to hide their identity and that Tina chick was a real firecracker.

does anyone know what happended with this case? It would be interesting to know. COHF was one of the first places to see bukkakes on Ameican girls; great stuff. How is Ray's case going.
Not really most stuff is shot in LA where prosecutors have a much lighter attitude on porn. Plus juries in LA County would be much more liberal, thus less likely to convict. But still, this is an important case and it is different then most porn cases becasue they are being charged with racketeering not just obscenity. Lance, please keep the ifo coming especially if a deal is made or if it goes to trial etc....
I don't understand how there can me so much legal unclarity about an activity which is apparently perfectly fine and legal in some part of the US, not even a misdemeanor, and a 'crime', a felony carrying half a lifetime in jail in another part.
I understand that the individual states can have their own laws but 'big' legal issues should be clear on the federal level. Maybe not the severity of the punishment but at least the basic legality or illegality or the act. Like, murder is illegal everywhere, right? Even if it carries a sentence in jail in one state and the death penalty in another.

Becasue unline murder, obscenity is a very subjective thing. Also, the Supreme Court has had varied rulings on the topics. Some areas are more liberal then others with prosecutors that have different attitudest towards porn.
Has the cumonherface content ever made it to dvd? Is it planned for the future? In the same way that website footage lke 'Teens for cash' and 'Midnight prowl' have now become a series on dvd.

Never saw on their site a place to buy DVDs but I haven't been a member for awhile now.
It should be perfectly obvious by now. The anti porn nazis basically own certain areas of the country. The areas they haven't been able to control exist because people in those areas stood up to them.
Again...it's one of the failings of Democracy. A majority can do anything they fucking want to in a Democracy. And that includes executing people for spitting on the sidewalk. When you own the people who make the law, you make the rules. If you can afford it, you can buy anybody and you can make your own law.
Democracy is great......as long as you're in the majority. If you're not, you'd better find a way to make it happen or move somewhere where you can be in the majority. That's why most people go to certain places to make porn and avoid the Bible Belt like the plague.

DVDs can be made on a computer, you should just sell them of the website, not worth puting in stores realy since the base is members...or maybe they could build a new following.
