To be more accurate we would need to say she put performing in front of the camera behind her however porn was very much a part of her everyday life. 1) She married into the Vivid family. Her brother in law is the CEO of Vivid and her sister in-law Marci is head of productions. Her husband was in marketing but I'm not really sure what he does now. Her brother married a porn star. I think it was Cassidey. Can't say 100% on that. My mind just blanked out. But for sure her brother married a porno star. And last but not least, her real estate career really revolved around her porn friends and contacts as from what I heard they specialized in bookings for the adult industry. Basically when you watch a movie and see that pretty house they are doing it in, Raylene may have very well setup the booking for that set. Although I'm sure porn wasn't 100% of her business, it was a part of it so you can't really say she put porn behind her when it was very much a part of her every day life. [Link]

But it is probable that a Child Custody Judge will say that Janine can't perform in porn and keep her five-year old daughter. Especially if the child's father (who's now married to a big movie star) wants custody. This is why Janine may not go back to performing after she gets out. It's about the child. [Link]
