I’m talking about the ones that seem rushed or too short, maybe there are technical reasons but sometimes a scene feels rushed because of time constraints. An example I could use is maybe a few old Ass Worship scenes, sometimes there is loads of tease but the actual sex seems very short lived, shots un necessarily changing quickly, these days the scenes are so long you get everything. I wonder how much extra footage is left that could make those old classics perfect. So yeah, does that seem feasible, to re release titles with more footage, maybe a special edition or best of comp with re cut scenes or am I talking crap. [Link] |

I also think it might be really hard to compile the material from movies that were made years ago. However something I would love to see is films that are shot on HD but only released on dvd I mean some movies that are a couple of years old before bkuray was developed as a disc tecnology must have shot scenes with HD cameras I would love to see scenes like that rereleased on blu ray but the problem is probably the same there who has saved the raw materials and their EDL:s [Link] |

A lot of Todays porn is so pristine, no little mistakes are shown, everything is clean and nice. I’m finding earlier stuff more down and dirty, its actually a big contrast. Some directors are trying to make porn perfect and getting away from that natural gonzo feel. Just my view anyway, I don’t want technical perfection with porn. [Link] |

I’d love to see longer versions of some old Ass Worship Scenes. 28 minutes on an ass like Olivia O’ lovely’s is no where near enough, imagine a 50 minute scene with her! I’m starting to think my dream job would be as a porn editor, I’d love to get all that footage these great directors shoot and put it together, not that I’d do a great job but man that would be fun, bit worrying really :) [Link] |

They could either re-release the same stuff in two-disc sets, or put together special edition comps of extended scenes with the same girl -- "never-before-released extended-length versions of Avy Scott's first-year scenes." Something to consider is a lot of gonzo porn DVD's are quickly put together when originally released, to get it out the door and get a quick profit. However, even just a couple years later, the context of that original content may have changed, if one or more of the girls in the original release went on to become a major star. What if she was one of five girls on the original release and half her material had to be cut for time, even though it was perfectly watchable, because they wanted to make the other scenes a minimum length? You've got new, strokable material right there -- easy money. The one explanation I can think of offhand for why we don't see this is perhaps, in their low-budget mentality, the producers throw out a lot of their unused footage and thus don't have it to sell.
