Click to expand A DVD will be standard definition, they are 480p or 480i. High definition starts at 720p. The original Video-X-Pix and West Village Video DVD lines are old 3/4" masters (not film). The last few of the Video-X-Pix DVD and the Distribpix DVD releases have been film masters. [Link]
