Hi,

I have an old VHS that I want to transfer onto a DVD, but I want to transfer on a DVD with the silver underneath. Not burn it with the DVD+R with the purplish color. Does anyone know of such a service or company that can do this? It's just for my personal use and not for selling. VHS lifespan is about 15-20 years. Thanks for any info or tips!!!

Probably $100 to $200 if you supply the master for the disc. More if they have to master it.
In addition, they will probably require you to have the rights to do so, so tack on whatever the copyright holder wants.
