Because a lot of these companies are really mom & pop operations without business professionals running them, this information is unsecure and is leaked to various places, Wikipedia included, more and more info of this info shows up all over the place. Besides the danger of sick people stalking them, the performers have to contend with identity theft, which is probably the most common problem. Your name is not so much public information as you might notice that most name tags worn by service related employees usually just have first names on them. [Link] |
