Anyone notice that after all our harping on RK "holding onto scenes" and citing the production date at the beginning of the scene that RK has Stopped putting production dates on some scenes in the last few days?
Interesting to go back and read this thread after months and see that many of the gripes from months ago still remain.

When this post first came up over a year ago, I didn't think Realitykings would last another year. I was wrong, they are still around, but somehow even worse. But still, they are a great case-study for a once great site that has done everything wrong. -Terrible male talent - you cannot compete with the major sites today using washed-up, D-list male talent like Jmac and Tyler Steel. There is simply no explanation for this. Many wasted scenes with good girls that could have been salvaged. -No attempt to get fresh new girl's first scenes, maybe their only one over the last three years was Eva Lovia's first BG scene. -Terrible video direction - just a camera on a tripod in one spot with the same standard positions, blowjob, cowgirl, doggy, guy jacking off for two minutes for a pathetic cumshot. No direction, no creativity, nothing to set them apart, let alone compete. -Horrible photo quality - 1995 technology for photo size/quality. While sites like Tushy, Blacked, Newsensations, Teamskeet, Vivthomas, Nubiles and hell, even Bangbros offer high def photos, Realitykings still offers the same quality photos that they offered 15 years ago. Why make porn if your product isn't even close to modern standards? Isn't there a businessman somewhere there that is saying let's do it better and make more money? -No upcoming scenes - probably actually a good thing since they do not have any good upcoming scenes. But other, successful sites offer this. -Forum / Behind the Scenes / Customer interaction - nothing even close to this at Realitykings. This site has been around forever, there should have been a culture built up by now for fans to interact with each other and the site. Nowadays, the only way fans can interact with the site is having their scene comments deleted. -The decline of once great sites - 5-10 years ago Mikeinbrazil was the best site in porn. The decline of that once great site has been fast and tragic. Why? Pure18 - gone. Even their current flagships of Cumfiesta, firsttimeauditions, roundandbrown, 8thstreenlatinas and welivetogether are just a shadow of their former selves, offering a downloadable scene maybe once every 3 or 4 months. I would love for someone from Realitykings to come on this site and explain their path forward. Anyone? Anyone? Yeah, didn't think so.
I agree 100 % It's such a shame. In the VIP used to be great with nasty sex. They stopped this series. some points are understandle and some are just personal taste. i agree with some male talent they use are not the best around but JMac is the Top Guy in the Miami Area and i never heard a lady complain anything about him. to the dude above me,for my taste i always found InTheVip a wasted money site.sex in a disco is not what i find desirable to watch or even want to do.also often you just hear the music and nothing else. and they had in my opinion shitty scenes this year aswell as some really good ones. i miss a bit Pure18 or a creampie site in general from them.Mike in Brazil had in almost all scene commentaries on the site ,bullshit like not pretty enough and condom use complaints,guess some dudes there have not much use of their brains,as in brazil its the law that they must use condoms.same law in france for example. one problem i think is that some scenes run between 40 till 50 minutes or more ,and just have maybe 15 minutes of it as part with actual sex.i not need a talking and teasing part that runs 2/3 of a scene,that i think most guys skip anyway.its like if you seen it once you seen it all vibe. i would say yes the could have been better in general but for sure it could have been lot worse than they actually do.

In The VIP works perfectly as a disco in private comfortzone, DVDs... Well I've got about half of those volumes nearby, had # 23 rolling today, scene 2, Dakota James and Kiara Knight were there and all came in dressed as if it was X Mas. I agree with some points Big Jiim and Jack Sparrow have made, but in my opinion RK's not nearly in the trouble that Bangbros is these days. Has RK been in a prolonged slump? Absolutely but they aren't in a Bangbros like death spiral. Pure 18 was replaced nearly 3 years ago by "Teens Love Huge Cocks", but TLHC should really be "Petite TLHC" since a busty teen has long been the exception to the rule. This brings me to my real pet peeve with RK, namely their model usage. Since petite teens are the norm these days, many get spread around to multiple sites which might factor into users frustration with RK's site _____. RK has released 8 Kimmy Granger scenes for example but she has been on 6 different RK sites and Lilith Shayton's 6 scenes were on 6 different sites. Also, RK tends to overuse models in certain niches. 7 of Layla London's 9 RK scenes were for Big Naturals and certain models dominate the "Milf role" at Moms Bang Teens where the top 8 Milfs account for 49 of 112 scenes.

My biggest beef with RealityKings, at the moment, is the excessive number of video downloads that contain artifacts and pixelization. One recent video had pixelization during the cumshot. This is absolutely unacceptable! Back in the video rental days (i.e. renting VHS videos from your local stroke shop), I understood all the artifacts around the cumshot -- because many pervs before you were pausing and using slow-motion playback while they finished masturbating to the cumshot. Simply put, the physical tape media was being stressed and worn out, and tracking issues being created, etc. There's no excuse for modern digital video downloads to have any of these kind of issues. And, FYI, I'm downloading from many other Brazzers/Mindgeek sites (i.e. Brazzers, MOFOs, Babes, Twistys and DigitalPlayground) with none of the video quality issues that have become routine on RealityKings. On one of the videos, I actually posted a comment about the pixelization issue, and RK removed my comment in less than 10-minutes, and, of course, has done nothing to correct/replace the defective video downloads over two weeks later.
^ The biggest drop has been on the 720p stuff. They used to use 576p as their 2nd highest resolution with bitrates at 3Mbps. However with the site redesign a few months ago, they upped those to 720p but kept the same 3Mbps bitrates. Compare that with a Brazzers 720p scene which is 8mbps. I haven't had too much problem with Reality Kings 1080p downloads, but a lot of times when grabbing a bunch of stuff to load onto a memory stick I'd go with 720p to save some time on the downloads, but lately RK's lower rez stuff looks inexcusably bad.
Damn. Just watched the Abella Danger/Keisha Grey scene "who's at the door" from a day or two ago. Worst 1080p quality I have seen on new content in a long time. The aspect ratio is incorrectly stretched out to like 2.35:1 and everything looks kind of squashed down. To make matters worse the scene was riddled with a massive amount of combing artifacts that makes it look like it was taken from and old interlaced source. When you encounter videos with screwed-up aspect ratios -- and the video is of otherwise good quality, and you want a watchable scene -- I have done the following with very satisfactory results: Sites Need To Drop Better Quality Videos
^ Thanks for the tip. In this case I won't bother as the video quality is terrible and I don't like Deen. That said the first half of the video is basically girl/girl and he doesn't even show up for a while. I guess they got complaints on the video quality because the scene seems to have already been removed from the site.
Any ideas what's up with Reality Kings steadily slipping posting times? They used to post in the early hours of the morning, but this time has slipped recently. They've posted on the website that they will try and have scenes up by 11am Eastern (6-8 hours later than their times only a few months ago) but they aren't even hitting this consistently.
^ That has puzzled me, too. A few years ago they used to release at midnight Eastern Time like clockwork, much like e.g. Brazzers is doing, which was obviously some automated process that just unlocked scenes prepared ahead of time. (That was back when they still had an "upcoming releases" section, too.) A while ago it turned into a guessing game with scenes coming out anywhere from a few hours earlier to several hours later than the midnight baseline, and now as you note they're claiming late morning release times but still can't hit those. My guess is that they're understaffed and releases are prepared pretty much on the fly these days.
^ Sounds plausible. Already this week they have posted the wrong trailer for a scene and the link for the two scenes today didn't work a few minutes after posting.

They must have heard you JC, an update this past week almost 3 months to the day since the last one. But you have to wonder if RK is suffering from the same "short bench" problem they have with Big Naturals, with three of the last 20 MC scenes coming from Kelsi Monroe.

^Huh, that was a surprising coincidence.. Interesting observation btw. I've been thinking the same thing (sort of) when it comes to BangBros and their Ass Parade updates, where some chicks are featured on a nearly monthly basis.
Wondering if Reality Kings will ever release the second Sydney Leathers scene they shot two years ago. The first one dropped in December of 2015 but the other one is still unreleased.
Cumfiesta seems to be another RK site on long term hiatus--no updates in about two months. Plus does anyone else think that RK has really been beating this "sneaky sex" idea to death over the last few months?
I don't know what the hell is up with RK these days, but they really have gotten erratic over the last few weeks in scene posting and selecting. For the second time in a month they have only posted one scene on a Saturday. In the first case, they did post the second scene and backdate it a day or two later, so I guess we can keep an eye out for them trying to do the same thing again. Also they must have a glut of RK Prime scenes since they dropped no fewer than 8 of them in October.
Seems to be different production team in charge of Reality Kings now. All the scenes now have scripted storylines and dumb gimmicks that kind of make the 'reality' part redundant. They really messed up when they recently featured Angel Wicky on Big Naturals (she has fake tits). The golden age of RK was around 2010-13.
Yes, Angel Wicky on Big Natties was a big time mistake and they got called on it, pretty promptly. I'll second you on scripted. I mean there has been to an extent always been a bit of scripting in porn but now it's really evident at RK, especially with all the Sneaky Sex and RK Prime scenes. I'm not sure what the hell is up with ESP. Moving it to a new day sort of made sense, to split up the two Euro-centric sites, but there has been no update for two weeks now. It's not like Eurogirls suddenly stopped shooting porn.

Sadly they seem to be going the way of Bang Bros - messing with their tried and tested and just dropping scenes randomly. You get the feeling some of these scenes have been shot quite a while ago and stored for a rainy day ... sadly that rainy day seems to have appeared.

Yes, I don't know who the hell is in charge of scene selection at RK these days. Cumfiesta was a mainstay of the network for years. There have been two scenes since the end of June 2017, both of which look to be scene dumps. ESP had it's posting day changed, which made sense in order to get it away from Mike's Apartment. However both Euro sites then went to "every other week" posting. But to confuse matters, we got 4 ESP scenes (about 2 months worth under the new scheme) in two weeks over the Christmas 2017 holidays. Meanwhile Sneaky Sex marches on, and having used just about every possible variation that actually meets the definition of "sneaky", two of the last three Sneaky Sex scenes have taken place respectively in the aisle on an airplane and in the middle of a supermarket. What the hell is sneaky about that?? I could go on, but you get the idea. This is a site that has gone from limping along to shoving over into a screaming power dive in the last year.
The Sneaky Sex vids are among the worst on the site. 90% of them are so terribly shot that you can see the scenario would never work. It's like they expect the viewer to have no concept of how line of sight works. Leave the scenario stuff to Brazzers. I don't get why RK have been shifting in this direction as the established format that people expect from RK is probably cheaper and easier to make anyhow.

Given the change to later release times in the day a few months ago - is it possible they're being run out of one of MindGeek's European dependencies nowadays and the Florida-based people in charge of it have finally left/been sacked? I always took the Sneaky Sex scenes as jokes. Like obviously, you have to know the couple is getting it on, but we're going to make it over-the-top. Man, I miss the Money Talks stuff. I always had my issues with it(not featuring Havoc enough in the scenes when she was hosting it), but it was unique. But now it's gone.
Sounds plausible. Bangbros spent one year slowing down and then the next year or two declining rapidly. RK has done in about 6-9 months what Bangbros took two or years to accomplish.

Why does RK have so few anal scenes? Obviously, they are one of the content factories in the porn world, churning out one scene after another, and I know they have budgets to maintain, but so many of the girls they shoot do anal regularly for other sites and I can't imagine the cost is really an issue for most of them.
You could make almost exactly the same statement about creampies, which have been with a few exceptions the exclusive domain of the Eurogirls for years at RK. That said, I have noticed that RK has gotten slightly lazy with their tagging over the last few months, so there's always the chance that you are missing scenes that haven't been tagged properly.
I think you have a good theory here. Most of their "flagship" sites that still update are now on a bi-weekly schedule. Other sites like Cumfiesta or In the VIP seem to have stopped updating all together. In the meantime we get 7 RK Prime scenes in 24 Days and Sneaky Sex is one of the few sites that updates weekly. To further confuse things, they randomly seem to pick one website to "flood the zone" with. 4 ESP scenes over Christmas and then right back to the bi-weekly rotation. TLHC has had "three scenes in one week" three times this year and it's not the end of Feb! It's almost like Mindgeek has gotten control of a competitor and is now determined to ruin it and/or drive business to their own sites, like Brazzers, Mofos and Digital Playground.
