In fact, if you're familiar with her career you know that she's only done 67 or so films in 6 years of full-time work in the industry which tells you a lot about her preferences. Plus, she never really left porn, instead taking a break from hardcore and working in softcore and on the dance circuit. Finally, if her comeback were all about the money, she wouldn't be restricting herself to features. That's for sure. However, I wouldn't say Syren is a representative example. Instead, most comebacks come out of nowhere, usually from girls you haven't heard a single thing about since their original retirement from porn. I'm inclined to believe that it is possible that money isn't the sole determinant for some comebacks. However, most of the time it probably is, which goes for both girls and guys. Another possible explanation is the dissolution of a serious relationship. Throughout the history of the industry I think there have been examples of girls who quit out of respect for a spouse and when the relationship fails they jump right back in, often times with a nastier disposition. Also, occassionally you'll get a Ginger Lynn-type who has tried to transition into the mainstream and ultimately failed, which still brings the primary reason back to money. Other relatively recent comebacks include Ava Vincent, April Blossom, Lisa Ann, Cassidy, Dayton Rains, Dee, Angel Long, and Kate Frost. Felecia's comeback never seemed to materialize. Like with Felecia, there are obviously times where girls are extremely close to coming back, whether fans know about it or not, but end up changing their mind (Victoria Paris in 1998) for various reasons.
