On a recent poll taken by AVNInsider.com they asked if doing interracial scenes would hurt a female performers career. The answer by porn fans was a resounding NO! Over 80% of those who responded said it would not hurt a starlet's career!
When you look at the biggest and most successful names in the history of female talent, they've all done interracial with the exception of Jenna Jamison. Certainly Seka, Traci Lords, Ginger Lynn, Nina Hartley, Ashlyn Gere, Jewel De'Nyle and other A list superstars of their respective eras haven't suffered from doing interracial, in fact they have prospered.
With Jessica Alba, Nicole Kidman and Britney Spears openly dating black men, I'm not sure how porn talent could still be fooled into thinking it's some how detrimental to their career to work with black men.
Lexington Steele is the biggest male star since John Holmes. Taylor Rain, Ander Page, Jenna Haze and a few other upcoming starlets are really depriving their fans by not allowing us to see them with the top male talent.
I sincerely hope Ander, Jenna, and Taylor come off their stance and at least do one scene with Lex. It's what the fans want.

As far as the no IR controversy, I'm pretty sure the girls aren't doing it, because their manager/boyfriends don't want them to.

Why not just accept the fact that not all performers are going to work with (or do certain things like double anal) that we might want them to do.
I include myself when I say this, but we porn fans have become very pushy lately. We stubbornly demand that performers or directors do things a certain way, and then loudly complain when they dare to disagree with us.
No industry works with or interacts with the fans/customer more than the porn industry. Sometimes we take that for granted.

The irony of this line is that, while objectionable, it is just the kind of crap you see written on the boxes of interracial porn vids usually penned by someone like Jake Steed.
I mention this because it is relevant to this thread. I happen to like interracial scenes for purely aesthetic reasons (I think light and dark skins look visually more graphic, white on white is less dynamic and black on black must be very hard to light given what most such scenes turn out like) but other than this the race things counts for nothing. Now surely, this is how it should be and what most posters here seem to be advocating. The problem is that many of the black performers themselves, especially once they get behind the camera, seem all to keen to caricature themselves, top live up to a stereotype of animalistic ignorance and thereby exacerbate the situation.
That said, I can't believe these girls aren't fucking black guys because they are worried about their careers. Be honest, do we really think that 'Joe Public' who buys a bit of porn has an encyclopaedic knowledge of who has and who hasn't done interracial scenes? Of course not. These girls may have a multitude of personal reasons why they choose not to have sex with someone of a certain race and that is their choice ; why do we have to keep going back to this issue as if they should be forced to perform with black men to prove their colourblind credentials?
