I think this topic has been in a thread before but it didn't seem to be very accurate from what I recall, are recreational drugs prevalent on sets, particularly amounst the female stars and is this more likely in Europe rather than in the U.S. ? Anyone seen a DVD where the actors seem to be under the influence (excluding the viagras of the world....).

Now I can understand any fetish but do you know that the use of drugs is illegal in many countries?
No clear information can be given , there's a risk of putting all performers in troubles if you say that clearly the star was wasted instead of drunk for example otherwise you can't be sure whether someone took a legal drug (alcohol) or an illegal one

I was told by a fairly well-known starlet in the 90's that drug use was fairly common on the sets. Probably still is but I think the new breed of girls are more savvy with their extra-curricular lifestyle choices. I could be mistaken. I think it's a bit cliched now but I know I saw a Rodney Moore vid where the girl was just blitzed and barely knew she was there. Sad really. I like seeing girls that are willing and under NO influence but their own sex drive...that is way more sexy.

^ Actually it's not , they are not more savvy at all , read my reply below also there are starlets who said they begun their drug habits in porn
To me or the OP?
if its me , well it is obvious while you can say you believe a performer use drugs Hypothetically you can't say I know XX takes coke , she did it before shoting xxxx
this provides evidence and a witness
for example I believe that the use of Crystal Meth in porn is rampant today especially among female performers , but I can't say when a performer use it nor if the physical signs of the abuse of it are actually because of that or are caused by some liver problem
I'm not a doctor although I did researches about the signs of drug use or abuse for personal purposes
Crystal Meth BTW is one of the most dangerous drugs around for many reasons , but it is not the topic to discuss this plus my English is not good enough to discuss in a topic at a medical level

^ Even with a medical license to smoke pot in CA, the federal government could send in the DEA to arrest any users, federal law trumps state law in the US. If those people you cite were actually stupid enough to smoke pot on camera while filming in CA, they all need a brain transplant and a good attorney! Of course if they were in the Netherlands where limited pot sales and use is tacitly accepted by the prosecution service there (although still technically illegal) that would be a different story.
I would also have to say that getting that license from the CA state government is likely more difficult than subbing in a four-hour gang-bang scene with Kink.com. Michigan has a similar law, there are only a few medical issues that a doctor may cite in support of an application for a pot smoking license and only a few doctors willing to support such an application (the state medical association can and will yank a doctor's license to practice for supporting such an application for a patient here and of course the big concern is the DEA both yanking these doctors controlled substance prescribing licenses and prosecuting them for encouraging illegal drug usage). Of course supposedly Gary Busey had a CA state pot smoking license so a few have evidently been issued there. I asked my doctor about pot licenses in MI and he said he knew of a couple of people with one and thought that there were legit uses in medicine for pot but would not support an application himself (probably so he could keep his license to practice medicine).

Hi all
well, even ganja may be ilegal in the States, I recall an old movie about girls smoking on bongs and getting fucked, I think they even shot 2 chapters of this too, too bad I couldn´t find the title. Still came across this other site: http://www.ganjaporn.com/ so it makes me wonder how ilegal pot is both on the States and on sets.
Also, been listening to storyes about famous pornstars who enjoy puffin othen so I guess we should start deffineing how ilegal is pot.
Besides, I can picture a few directors puffin on a fatty after shooting a scene fo sure

Oddly enough , Codeine , Morphine and Methadone , not to mention vicodin and oxycontin which are all derived from opium could fairly be prescribed with almost no consequences although technically as drugs they are far worse than any pot
the first one is a light pain suppressor but in high dosage or mixed with other substances could be easily used as a drug
The second is a drug other than the powerful pain suppressor known
Methadone is also a drug used to help and deal a withdrawal from heroin , its dosage can be reduced and in time completely abandoned

I think it depends on the director, some are infamous for allowing any kind of drug use on their sets, others are more strict because they want the scene to be top notch.

@mharris127 I seriously doubt the DEA or the Feds are going to go after a porn company or the people in it because they showed someone smoking pot. That would be a huge waste of money and most likely a fail cause the only thing they would have to prove it was actual pot would be footage from a fictional porn movie. Oh and marijuana license in Cali are a lot easier to get than you think.

Ok let's be real, 1. They couldn't prove from film that it wasn't some synthetic weed. 2. Someone smoking on film isn't going to bring down the porn industry, if so it would have already happen. 3. The D in DEA stands for drugs so I don't think that branch of the government gives a shit about porn, unless the companies headquarters doubles as some huge grow house/drug ring. Ur acting like me bringing up a scene is going to single handedly get porn shut down, if so sorry guys porn is officially dead(my bad).

Let's be real they did it with Maradona during the USA World Cup of soccer , the man went to the camera after marking a goal and a doctor saw he was on cocaine, he called the fed ,they examined the video ask to other doctors , they confirmed and then arrested him.
If even I am able to see that some stars are possibly abusing crystal meth what can be done with a specialist?
However I'm not saying the fed will do but if someone here says who and when was on drugs and what drug was used then there is a witness

There is more than a few BTS sequences that show performers on set with their bongs, etc. If the Feds were going to pursue this line of attack against the industry they would have done it already.

Methadone (Dolophine, Methadose) is also used in pain management. I have a severe back injury and took it for many years for that purpose. A pain specialist I saw (after some research as he hadn't hardly ever seen it prescribed for pain before) said that methadone is about to be banned for non-addiction medicine uses so I was switched to morphine (MS Contin) -- which actually works quite well for pain management in appropriate dosages, I would have to say it works just as well as the methadone did. Codeine (Tylenol 2, 3, and 4) is a mild opiate used for severe coughs and mild pain (like the pain after a tooth is pulled). Vicodin (generic name hydrocodone, also sold in a double-strength form called Norco) is used for moderate pain and oxycodone (sold as Roxicodone, Oxycontin, Percocet) is in the same class as morphine and methadone, used for severe pain. Other opiates used in the US are hydromorphone (Dilaudid), meperidine (Demerol) and oxymorphone (Opana), all are in the same class as morphine. Darvon and Darvocet were recently banned due to metabolite buildup in long-term users and was not a very effective painkiller anyway. Ultram is also sometimes cited as a week opioid but wasn't even scheduled until recently, my sister's ex husband took it for a couple of months for a wrist injury and when the time came to get off he had moderate withdrawal symptoms so don't believe people that say Ultram doesn't cause withdrawal (it is sometimes touted as a drug that does not cause withdrawal). Any opiate can cause withdrawal symptoms and even addiction in susceptible people. Withdrawal is more of a concern in those that are taking it for only a few months for a temporary condition, people like myself that will be likely taking them for life usually come out OK as true addiction is rare in pain patients according to research.
As for your comment about pot, I agree that it should be legal and is no more damaging than tobacco or alcohol.

If you want to be "real" then you need to tell the story accurately. Maradona raised peoples suspicions because of the celebration into the camera. He wasn't arrested, he failed a drug test after the match and was sent home from the tournament.

My point was that he was prosecuted or at least given MANY problems because of what was seen on camera which is real
