I haven't seen a one of them, but I'm most interested in #3 based on Dumblonde's review, and on a trailer I saw for it on some other Metro title. The fact that it has Gwen Summers in it just cements the deal. It's only a matter of time. What do you guys think of this series? What about James Avalon in general? Is he still working these days? He'll be taking over Mike Quasar's excellent Babes Illustrated series, and I believe even his popular Stop, My Ass is On Fire line, although Avalon probably does not view as a step up, if ya know what I mean, so who knows for how long. I've only seen #3 in the Red Vibe series, but was very impressed, especially with the art direction. I've heard nothing about any plans to continue the line unfortunately, but if you like Avalon and Gwen Summers, you might also like the double feature Justine 3 & 4. I believe she was listed in the credits, though I'll have to watch it again to figure out which one she is, as I'm not familiar with her. Maybe you would know better from my screenshots. I just hope that I haven't given you a bum steer. James Avalon DOES sound rather hairdressy |

I've actually recently found a fair amount of stuff that I've been pleasantly surprised by lately--in all kinds of different "catagories" (i.e. the more fetishy Tanya Hyde / Frank Thring's work, the more gonzo-ey work from Shane's World, the pure "spectacle" of Andrew Blake and Marc Dorcel, and of course there's always my well established edgier material ala Joey Silvera and Rocco). Again, it's a testiment to ADT that I'm so able to hit more than I miss these days. Not only have I found this place to be a great resource, but in participating, I've done alot to figure out for myself what I like and what I don't. It helps prevent me from waisting my time on stuff I don't want. Anyway, that tangent aside, I'm really diggin' Red Vibe Diaries #3, and it's so exciting to me to find a film that can easily be defined as "couples" that caters to my tastes in porn so well. It's certainly not unheard of, but it is a rare thing indeed. Mike L. Edited by - MLyons on 3/27/2003 9:48:00 AM |
