Remy, I've always thought you were awesome from scene 1 and I've had a lot of respect for you but that respect has grown substantially with the way you are handling your exit from the industry -- keeping the performing commitments you've already made and staying out there for your fans, not disappearing into thin air the way some do. Looking forward to your upcoming stuff and I hope this topic returns to being one you enjoy coming to. Saving up my $$ for your upcoming scenes and your hula instructional video!
Post brought forwardHi Remy. We do have the option to edit posts and are actively encouraging those who are posting outside of the etiquette expected to change their posting style or to not post in this thread at all. Much of this is being conducted via the private messaging system we have in place on a daily basis. What I would encourage is that if at any time you feel the thread is being derailed or there is an attempt to derail to use the 'Message Moderator' option at the top of the page where a moderator can quickly deal with the issue. The majority of the members here I'm sure you'd agree mean well and have the best interests of performers/industry insiders at the forefront whenever they post. Then there's a few who, let's say, forget their manners, a quick reminder of what is expected usually puts that right, those that don't listen tend to be deactivated. I'm sorry to say we don't have the 'block' option you mentioned, however I will be suggesting this to the site owners. It's a great idea and a tool that could be very handy around here. Again to say, please don't hesitate to use the message moderator option as we try to keep the inconveniences in this thread to a minimal. Thanks for the post Remy.
^^ I echo every word Rodin said in his post above. You are a class act all the way and I look forward to following your life adventures on twitter or youtube or your blog. I hope you continue your blog as I enjoy your style of writing which is as unique as you are. Oh and I can't wait for more hula hoop videos!
I am a really big fan of Remy, she seemed very genuine in all her scenes. She really came out of the game strong and got my attention. Going right into anal, bondage etc. This was incongruous with the 'career' girl approach of porn. So I guess this shouldn't be a shock but it is. I was hoping for a few more years but I am very happy with the scenes thus far. Good to see there are some not yet released and I look forward to them. I do not understand the negativity in this thread and can only assume it is a way of dealing with the grief. My wish is that this is just a short break and we will see more of her pretty face in the future.
I think we should be glad she had the decency to tell us she was leaving...too many starlets just disappear without notice leaving everyone guessing...

This makes me very sad. I can't believe that things have gotten so bad here that Remy dreads even looking at this thread. Please don't worry about the haters Remy. There are many, many, many more who support you and appreciate what you do for us. Please never lose your smile.
Remy, thanks for your kind words to your true fans. Jonny Jay, I hope it can be made easier to remove unwanted comments and their posters in the near future. The rules are clear so there should be no exceptions or excuses. The performers (and directors) shouldn't dread coming here as Remy mentioned. They should be enjoying the company of their fans here, getting feedback and ideas for future scenes etc not receiving abuse.
I went through a cleaned up some of the off topic posts over the last few days so please let's try and keep this thread and any Star Crossed thread about a performer as close to on topic as possible and keep all the bullshit out. Thanks.
I once called Remy a porn super-volcano. It's still fitting, a quick burst of extreme energy that shocks the masses, destroys all conventions, everything you thought you knew about the industry, and forever alters the future. But it is a short and exciting eruption and it quickly dissipates. Thank you, Mt. St. Remy. Your eruption onto the scene was more than any porn fan could dream of and the months of incredible footage will be kept in the archives of many a porn fan's basement and secret hard drives. We'll miss you. Thanks for the orgasms! To Remy!
^Nice! I was worried for a while it was going to be this one which wouldn't have been good at all, (imo of course). Edited by - Jonny Jay on 7/3/2012 2:35:42 PM

Watching Remys upcoming stuff is like watching the final season of your favorite tv show. It's exciting and sad at the same time. Damn, I miss her already...and I miss LOST.
Was the ADT policy changed? I don't see any posts that are rude per se, but maybe they were edited by mods before I read them? All I saw was Remy treating a question as if it was an accusation, and things went from there. If only fawning posts are allowed, ADT should state that.
I'm not, I'm trying to determine what the ADT policy is because I genuinely don't see where people have been rude. If only posts singing Remy's praises are allowed, then ADT should be forthright about that. The questions I saw were not rude IMHO.
Hence the question. I've been posting here for almost ten years, but this seems like a change of policy. I need to know the groundrules if things have changed for future threads. Edited by - 007 on 7/3/2012 11:22:12 PM
MOD: Enough. If visiting this thread (and this site) is such an unbearable experience, perhaps it's just not worth your time to visit. Thank you Remy for some fantastic scenes with a gorgeous woman!! It might be a good thing Remy has decided to stop shooting. If she would have waited until she was completely burnt out, a return would be very unlikely. As it stands now, you never know what the future holds, perhaps Remy decides to excite us all again with a round 2, but only she knows what the future may hold! Good luck Remy, and hopefully you don't let the attention starved trolls on here keep you from popping in from time to time!

Mmmmm don't think so. LOST was a 6 year build up to a disappointing (putting it mildly) ending. Remy was around like six months, she'll probably be back in less than that. I'm not buying any of it. Seen this act before.
Without knowing Remy's motivation, what you've seen in the past isn't particularly relevant. Without knowing Remy's future, none of us know what might persuade her to return. Obviously, it may prove difficult to get the same level of income starting in any other profession, but perhaps Remy is not particularly motivated by a desire to get rich. She may be content to just get by if that let's her pursue her interests.
At the risk of adding to the very thing that annoys me on this thread, can everyone cease going back and forth about off-topic crap? It's fucking unending. Get a clue.

I PM'ed a Mod twice about it (since this quote was posted by a Mod on this thread a few pages back: "Again to say, please don't hesitate to use the message moderator option as we try to keep the inconveniences in this thread to a minimal.")and got no response so I can only assume that it's okay with the Mods unfortunately. I'm done talking about (I promise).
I wonder if Remy will be involved in a scene with more than 5 guys before she wraps up in LA? I wonder if there's a hula hoop sponsorship in Remy's future? I wonder if Remy prefers the cinema of Jacques Remy to the taste of Remy Martin? (But I'd rather not mention the band Remy Zero). I wonder what Remy thinks her five favorite scenes are so far? I wonder if there's anyone Remy hopes to work with in her final scenes? I wonder if there's a flag flying at half-mast over the Spiegler Dorm? When Homer Simpson retires from the Nuclear Plant after 30 years of service, they'll probably give him a gold doughnut. I wonder what Remy would like in lieu of gilded pastry after her stint on the sinful screen?
