I just purchased a new DVD "Rene' Bond: Sex Kitten" It was a 'best of' video. I looked in the bio extra of the DVD and saw where she had died in 1996. It made me feel bad and I didn't even want to watch the DVD for a few days.

Rene' Bond was from the golden 70's. I saw her in a trailer for a film at a drive-in theatre in 1978. I was struck by her looks and talent. I never saw that film, "Do you want to be loved" at the theatre, but a few years later, when videos became available, I ordered that film. It was my very first porn movie! So Rene' had a special place in my heart. She didn't do a whole lot of movies, but did some loops. I didn't see her in anything in the 80's and beyond, and not really thought much about her. But seeing that she has passed away has brought back some fond memories, and I just wanted to express my sadness for the passing of one of the early legends of porn.
