Might not be relevant to the topic, but what I want to know is why during a lot of his later scenes (as far as I can tell, from the Brazzers Mia Malkova/Georgie Lyall scene onwards) in Brazzers, Bangbros, LegalPorno, he twists and turns his face while fucking as if he's in a lot of pain. I don't see this in the Tori Black Tushy scene though.
^ It's a very bad translation from the italian. Could't find the original, but it already in the first paragraph: He was riding and saying:. Clearly, that must read He was laughing and saying". (italian "ridere" means laugh, not ride...) And the list goes on and on. He was bad until January? That should read He was ill/sick until January (stava male = being sick, not male = bad)
that's kind of you to try to clarify. Some of the things you get yourself (like bad=sick), but things like the "riding" ... well, Io no parlo Italiano ...
Unless he's only going in as a producer how is this supposed to work?

Does gay porn have HIV-positive performers? I know they use condoms, but it still seems pretty risky unless both performers in a scene are positive, which I suppose is possible.
^ as far as I know, there is gay porn shot with all-HIV-positive performers. This is also the main reason for the backlash of crossover performers (to non-gay), because apparently nobody knows if there are crossover performers from the all-HIV-positive to the regular gay scene (with regular testing)... That was already addressed in the August Ames thread.
Am I wrong in assuming that a performer who has HIV is more likely to get infected with others STI because of the various drugs he has to take to keep that virus at bay? If yes, then that is another reason why crossover performers are significantly more dangerous to the hetero side of the industry.
I found a great back and forth discussion started by Karma Rx about dirty test on Elena's Koshka's Twitter feed on Mar19. It's well worth reading to see what many different performers have to say about performers that get a positive result on STI on a regular basis.
MOD: You just broke so many rules so many times with that post I'm not going to list them. Read the forum etiquette and don't ever post anything like that again.

Any compromise in a persons immune system leaves them more susceptible to infections of any type. I don't know that that in and of itself increases the risk with a cross over, because anyone can contract the virus and there fore anyone would be at a higher risk factor.
^The reason why I think crossover performers are a significantly bigger risk than an hetero only performers is that anal sex is riskier than vaginal sex when it comes to STI transmission because of the way the anus is designed and since gay porn is likely to include a lot of anal penetration then gay performers are more likely to get an STI(unless a condom is used). If these same performers also shoot on the hetero side of the industry than they increase the risk of STI transmission for hetero performers.
^ Yes. I think the logic goes that since HIV+ performers work in the all-male side of porn, then crossovers pose a risk. But, the boy-girl side of porn test for STIs and surely those who are HIV+ are fairly open about it otherwise how would producers pair HIV+ performers/ensure the safety of costars? (Yes I am assuming those concerns are important to producers). Also, with PrEP on the market this whole conversation needs updating.
Since I was using science to base my comment and not philosophy than the answer to your question is yes. Hetero performers who have anal sex are at greater risk of getting an STI than their vaginal only counterpart but I don't know if the news is all that great for vaginal only performers because they themselves have sex with male performers who regularly have anal sex and since the number of active male performers in the industry is quite small than vaginal only women will work with men who have anal sex.
We may never know how high STI transmissions are in the porn industry but the fact that no one has ever released numbers makes me think that it's pretty bad because if the numbers were quite low than I think every person in a position of authority would brag about it. I highly recommend that everyone read Karma RX Mar 19 Tweet regarding dirty test because you will see multiple performers discuss that subject.
I honestly dont understand why there is this big crusade to allow HIV positive performers into the straight side of the industry. That they are "stigmatized"? This isn't discrimination in society as far as laws and equality and so forth. it is about someone having a choice to not work with someone who has HIV or anything for that matter.
This political correctness insanity will be the thing that kills porn. Nobody male or female who is HIV positive should be allowed to perform in porn, it doesn't matter what medicine you are on-the risk is still there. Can see a lot of women quitting porn if all the studios go down this route & just setting up their own content where they can pick who they want to work with.
You do not understand or infer the relevance of his comments on destigmatisation to extend the same practices to the straight industry or are you trying to dismiss or impeach his post?

If you are positive, you should be banned. If you hide it, you should be charged with assault. Your freedom to work does not extend to endangering peoples lives, no matter how low the risk.
No dismissal or "impeachment" lol. I don't have an opinion on this topic (I don't know enough). I wasn't replying to a post about "extending the same practices" of destigmatization etc. That is a rational way of putting it and understandable. I was responding to someone talking about "crusades" which seems like a bit of a hyperbolic reaction based on inferred ideas.
P.S. I found that part about non-disclosure and not needing to worry quite alarming because it goes against everything we have been told is central to consent and sex/is the foundation of ethical practices in porn work. I did not post the article as an uncritical endorsement. I found it interesting and relevant so I posted it.

So is it now confirmed that he's positive for HIV or what? I was just watching this adptube (actricesdelporno) orgy/sex on stage scene with Carolina Abril and there he was, banging a different chick every other minute and I remembered there were some rumors about him being infected a while back so it was rather jarring. The google results on the topic don't go beyond the tabloid postings at the time, looking like a cleanup job.
For those wondering, Nacho explains how he found out he had tested positive and goes into some details about his mental state and family. He then leaves us on a cliffhanger, saying that in the next part of the video series he will have his blood drawn and tested all on camera to prove he does not have AIDS. I assume he means HIV...if so, this series of videos is designed to prove the positive test was false and he does not have HIV.

This feels like the beginning of a dramatic movie. But it's real life. And I'm not sure I can tell the difference any more. On the edge of my seat awaiting Part Two...
I'd like to know the objectivity and independence of whoever is running this test.
It's not as if there aren't tests that can be manipulated to give a negative result when certain tests aren't as effective as others in detecting antibodies to confirm the presence of HIV.

HIV is a virus. It may lead to AIDS, the disease you can get after the virus has infected your body for several years and has weakened your immune system. Not everyone who has HIV will get AIDS, but without treatment with antriretroviral drugs the infection will progress to AIDS
He could certainly be telling the truth that he doesn't have AIDS but that is just semantics that don't deny having HIV. Not having AIDS just means his body is putting up an immunological response to a viral or bacterial infection.
In Spain, colloquially, people talk about HIV and AIDS as if they were the same thing. He is not making dialectical games, it is street language, aimed at the Spaniards, nothing more. Saludos desde España.

here's the second part of the video,if i understand well,he's never been hiv+ but has Reiter's syndrome,is it correct?
^ That's what he's saying. It is entirely plausible as reactionary arthritis can be caused by untreated sexually transmitted infections such as chalmydia or syphilis.
Talk is all well and good but Nacho should have an independent and seemingly incorruptible clinician test him to refute the rumours and innuendo if his claim of not being HIV+ is true.
