In the early 90s, the Starbangers series was so effective because that was a time when the adult industry was still geared toward producing female stars. You had years of seeing these girls on the front cover of couples films, and then all of a sudden you see them on the cover of a gangbang tape. This type of transition for girls would in some ways be sad (Savannah a prime example) but for some it would just be flat out intriguing (I was shocked to learn that Tracey Adams did one. I can't find it for rent; I might have to break my own rule and actually buy the DVD).

It's been 12 years since the first Starbangers. Gonzo has taken over so much since then that the old cliche of the glamour girl gone bad no longer holds true (instead, it is the opposite way around with gonzo girls like Keri Sable, Sunrise Adams, and Teagan becoming contract girls), and the type of acts in the typical Starbangers film would no longer be shocking now. Throw girls like Savannah, Tracey Adams, Sarah Jane Hamilton, Kaitlyn Ashley, Jeanna Fine, Shanna McCullough, Nici Sterling, etc. into these films in the early to mid 90s and you really have something. Try it now and you would probably get retread contract girls, older barely active stars on the comeback, or young girls who have all ready done multiple multi-guy scenes. There are some girls that I guess I can think of that would be nice for this (no longer active, but Jennifer Luv would have been ideal), but not in the same way that Tracey Adams and the others were in the original series.

If John T. Bone wanted to resurrect this, which I doubt he does or will, if nothing else it would be interesting to see what girls he chose to cast.

Maybe I've misjudged the market and mistaken my own preferences for that of the larger audience, but I think there's an audience for videos that, for instance, started out with an actress speaking to the camera and saying, "Hi. I'm _____, and you're about to watch my first and only gangbang." (Or that were marketed along those lines.)

Fill in the blank with Avy Scott, Kaylani Lei, Charmaine Starr, Kelli Tyler, your own example of Jennifer Luv, Sophie Sweet/Moone, Kinzie Kenner, Lilly Thai, Dani Woodward, Simone, Gina Ryder, Penny Flame, Diana, Brianna Beach ....

Now there's probably a reason behind the carer choices that each of these women has made. But I'll bet there's at least a few on that list, and a few more whose names I haven't thought of, who've thought, "Yeah, I'd like to try that. Wouldn't want to do it every day, but ince or twice might be fun," and who have enough SFBs out here to make such a venture worth enticing them to do so.

Someone could certainly introduce a line with that title and concept. But I don't think it would come across as very special in the present environment. Even Anabolic's Gang Bang Girl and Diabolic's Gang Bang Auditions seem a little dated these days. That's because gang bang dynamics are simply part of most gonzo movies now. There are ALWAYS a bunch of guys lurking in the wings, ready to drop loads.

Interesting, though, that you don't really see a lot of gang bang tapes produced by either Anabolic or RLD. It seems mostly to be the domain of amateur and interracial lines -- or a Rocco movie. But again I think part of the reason is the gang bang is almost redundant.

There are certainly a good deal of girls, such as the ones you mentioned, that would be great for a Starbangers revival. Hey, you put Penny Flame, Avy Scott, or Kinzie Kenner in one and I'd watch it without hesitation. It just wouldn't be as big of a deal as the original Starbangers was.

All I'm trying to say, if badly, is that it doesn't have to be a big deal to be commercially successful. All I'm suggesting is that if there's enough demand to sustain a line of videos that has girls walking around going "cluck-cluck," or calling guys "daddy," or wearing glasses, or eating cum out of assholes, I'd think there certainly would be enough to sustain a line featuring girls in their one-and-only (or fairly infrequent) gangbang appearances.

On a personal level, as a consumer, I'd make sure I kept up with such a series. And it would make it markedly easier to locate the product I'm interested in if I knew to look for such a sries when I crossed the threshold of my local pornatorium, rather than having to ask myself, "Okay, what was the title and studio of the Avy Scott gangbang?"
