Rather than folding a dvd cover dead centre (which leaves a visable score line through any writing/photo on the covers edge) it is much better to fold a cover where it's edge would naturally bend when placed in a dvd box.

Most retailers do fold covers in this neater way. But others (Fivestardvd, Erodvd) still fold in the centre.

I allow myself to mention that our packing staff folds the cover on the natural edge for years.

Good work Peter.

I have ordered from Orgazmik in the past with no complaints.

Greetings, I discussed this issue regarding cover art with the shipping department and we will now fold dvd covers on the edge where it bends when placed in a dvd box.

Thanks again for all your input regarding our service!

Thank you ! I've just checked this thread and thought I was the only one concerned about this issue. I often refrained from ordering global priority letter at FiveStar because of that and usually added the additional dollar for the boxcase. Yes, we boxcover addicts are like this Thx for caring. It's those little details that make the great retailers.

It's amazing how quickly retailers respond to issues once they are pointed out to them. I bet if anyone who thought that this was a problem with 5 Star had taken 2 minutes to e-mail them, they would have fixed this years ago.

Instead, it ended up costing people an extra dollar per disc becasue they didn't mention the issue.

I've always found that retailers are very receptive to constructive criticism when it's presented properly. Most of the time the reply is something along the lines of "Good idea. We didn't think of that."

awesome! Glad to hear the retailers are responding! The down-the-middle folding has always bugged me as well...
