For example there was a very hot movie called No Time For Love from 1991 that I don't even know if it was ever even out on dvd! You can't even find it streaming. On it's iafd page there are zero links at all. I guess the only way to see it is on a used vhs. It's a crime that a good movie is unavailable when there is so much crap easily accessible

I searched for a 1990 movie, OUT FOR BLOOD, for ages. It doesn't exist. A guy I know had a friend who was shutting down a videostore, happened to have the VHS, and digitized the video/sent me the file. That's how lucky you have to get to be able to find these obscure and unloved video-era movies. It's sad.

There was a company called VIDEOAGE that used to transfer movies that were only on VHS to DVD and sell them. The DVDs were VHS quality but It was nice being able to buy DVDs of those movies. ALPHA BLUE transfers old movies to DVD and even though the quality is often lacking I like being able to buy those movies I would never be able to own otherwise. With certain porn movies that are out of circulation I'm surprised someone just doesn't take the old VHS tapes and transfer them to DVD or make them available to stream. Yeah, I know it would be wrong if they didn't own the rights but at this point with those companies long gone who'd come after them? I'm a big Kay parker fan and wish all her movies were available in some form today.

I've been searching for the VHS Makin' Bacon, which features Jamie Monroe. Compounding the frustration is I saw it on the shelf in a Seattle video store while on an unexpected layover during an international business trip in 1990's. I didn't want to risk trouble packing it in my luggage, with customs inspections. I could not convince the store clerk to ship it to my (US) home, even offered extra extra money. So, I couldn't/didn't buy it. Thought I'd find it later, but never did.
