| stolt Member Essex, UK 18 Posts 2/01 |  Posted - Apr 12 2001 : 8:59AMI purchased 5 dvds from ADN which I recvd the other day, however one the discs is faulty and the player spits it out, I tried it on another player and the same thing happens. The disc is double sided, the bonus side works its the feature film that doesn't, I've contacted ADN and they replied quickly to say that I'm to send it back to them before they can send me a replacement. Has anyone needed to send a dvd back because it is faulty, if so did the retailer refund the postage for you, not sure how much it will cost to post it back to the US, it can't be much, but I don't really want to pay for it when the disc is clearly faulty. The cost of posting it back was no big deal for me I was just happy to get it exchanged. I also make a point of using Recorded delivery, a bit more expensive then regular airmail. This will cover you if it gets lost going back and you can claim from the post office if it does. Unlike DVDExplorers method retailers will expect your disk back before a replacement is sent.
