Plot Synopsis: One of several spoofs inspired by Bill Clinton's infidelity, this comedy stars Jonathan Morgan as President Freeman, the leader of the nation of "Silverland." After a scandal involving six hookers, the President flees to a secret retreat with his wife (Tina Tyler) and his staff, including several interns (of course). With the accent and coordination of an Arkansas politician and the gestures and slogans of that politician's predecessor, Freeman comically tries to revive his career while satisfying his primal urges. The First Lady spurns his advances; instead she turns to one of the interns to satisfy her. Naturally, the President also dips into the abundant supply of interns for his own needs. Even his staff members (Tom Byron, Marc Davis, Ian Daniels, and Vince Vouyer) are eager to show the ambitious girls the ropes. However, none of them realize that the interns are all working for the leader of the opposition party by gathering dirt on the Freeman presidency. Just when it looks like the President will go down in flames, he and the First Lady come to terms and work out a plan to make their return to politics. Notable Performances: I'll point out two very good scenes: the first scene of the movie with Amber and Tom Bryon and a threeway with Taylor Moore, Ian Daniels, and Vince Vouyer. Amber is a pretty foreign (French?) brunette with great natural breasts. Of all of the "interns" she's the one who looks most likely to be an intern--the other women look older than her. Tom Byron, surprisingly, looks great--it's a wonder what a nice haircut and a shave can do to a guy's looks...he looks about 10 years younger without the long hair and scruffy goatee. I was surprised that I liked the threeway scene as much as I did since I don't like any of the performers. Not only are they all enthusiastic, the penetration shots are done well and are a visual turn-on. It's an even more interesting scene to come back and watch again after you've seen the behind-the-scenes outtakes (more on this later). Dislikes: What's my biggest disappointment in this movie? That's easy--in two words: Sana Fey. My number one porn pet peeve is outrageously big fake tits, and Sana Fey has pair of 40EE melons that look and behave like bowling balls. That fact that she's in a scene with Tye, also a girl with big boobs (38DD) but natural ones, makes her look even more artificial. Compared to her, the other flaws in this movie (such as boom mikes appearing in the shot or inverted video footage) are only minor annoyances. DVD Notes: After seeing early Nu Tech releases, I was convinced that they were the "Madacy" of the adult world--bringing nothing but cheap and crappy releases to market. But it looks like they've turned over a new leaf, because this "Collectors Edition" really deserves that special distinction. From the moment you insert the disc, you know that you're getting more than you do with most adult DVDs, and certainly more than what you paid for this Nu Tech release (street price around $15). Hey, there's an honest-to-God Dolby Digital intro trailer--that's something you don't see on almost any mainstream disc, let alone an adult DVD. When you come to the menus, you'll notice that they are all animated, and most have some sort of full motion video. There are four new release trailers included on the dual-layered disc, as well as an animated slide show. But the biggest bonus of all is the behind the scenes footage--32 minutes in all--that give you a glimpse of the filming process. They basically used another video camera to document the set--you get to see the equipment, crew, and performers. Some of the stuff is funny, some of it is revealing--all of it is essential viewing material if you've ever wondered what it's really like on a porn shoot. I would recommend though that you watch the movie before you see the documentary, otherwise you'd be seeing the Wizard behind the Curtain before you saw the Emerald City of Oz, to use an analogy. Now, regarding the much heralded surround offerings available on the recent Nu Tech releases, I'm not that impressed. Although I don't have a DTS decoder, I wasn't thrilled by the Dolby 5.1 soundtrack. Although they make use of the surround channels with directional sound effects (and no, not for the cumshots The Last Word: I think the latest Nu Tech releases are some of the most underrated DVDs on the market and certainly a great bargain. Sex, Lies and the President may not be the best porno parody out there, but there are tons of movies that are a lot worse and cost a lot more. Personally, I felt the glimpse behind the scenes was worth the price of the DVD.
