You guys can lock this thread whenever you want. but, while I'm here....please don't gather from the other thread that the reviewers are closed minded. The problem was that the comments taken were more of an attack and there was little or no sign of appreciation. The reviewers here do it more as a service. The only payment we receive is some of the actual DVDs and the occasional compliment. Most of us would be willing to go into more detail for a specific DVD if requested. And we appreciate your input. The changes you may suggest will be considered and sometimes even implemented. Keep in mind however that we cannot please everyone and we consider it more of a friendly service. To me, a outright attack on my reviewing for not be detailed enough by someone other than Steph or Drew is kinda like having someone come over to your house, ask for some food that you paid for then bitch because you didn't bother to buy potato chips to go along with it. I feel it is fair to offer opinions of the reviews, since after all our reviews consist of us placing opinions on DVDs and sometimes quite nasty ones at that(not me of course). But, then again we ain't charging ya. Since I got off track....Bottom line: Feel free to tell us what ya want. [Link] |

Smartblonde, I'm sure you have guessed what I think about the "delurk to attack" methods used a few times in the recent past. I wonder where the last one went (nudge nudge, wink wink) and what their real agenda is/was... Of all the people who review here, I am the one who wants input from people the most. I can easily spend an extra 20 minutes per review to blather on endlessly with a bunch of psuedo-intellectual BS but it makes no sense to do so. People that have read a number of reviews here understand this... That said, wanna make a bet? [Link] |
