That said, I have liked most of what I've seen from them (no, I haven't seen the "Rough Sex" series, or the "Oral Consumption" series...I refuse to); they do have some good, hot titles. I'd be very glad if they reduced this sort of thing, though.

Well, Black Coffee, it's all in the context. It didn't bother me when Tera Patrick rimmed Erik Everhard in "Nice Rack 4", nor did it bother me when Adriana Sage was rimmed in "Bottom Feeders 2". I didn't like it when, in one of Anabolic's titles, all the guys lined up and bent over, and the girl rimmed them...it's difficult for me to explain why. When it's done in a fashion that seems like an extension of normal sex play, it truly doesn't bother me. When it's done as a stunt, or with an attitude that seems to say (overtly or covertly), "Let's see what we can make this girl do", yes, it can be distasteful to me (no pun intended).

I don't consider the act of rimming to be disbasement in and of itself...it's all in the presentation. What constitutes an acceptable presentation of it? Well...it's a huge gray area for me, and probably for most people. "Diff'rent strokes", you might say.

I never thought I'd be writing about the act of rimming in porn DVDs...this is highly amusing.

Black Coffee, I'll agree my initial response to this thread was a little stringently worded, and not exactly thorough. (I just saw "Gangbang Auditions 5" over the weekend, so some particular mental images are still fresh in my mind.) Sometimes rimming comes across as okay (I don't really seek it out), sometimes it comes across as not okay. To sum up:

To me, rimming is...

- acceptable in personal situations (hell, it's an almost daily occurrence for me while at work)

- sometimes acceptable in porno videos, when it's not overdone (and this line for me personally varies, depending on my mood/temperment...there are times when I think, "Oh, okay", and there are other times when my immediate reaction is "YEECH!")

- not my cup of tea when you have eight or ten guys lined-up, bent over, and with their hairy arses (a much funnier word than "ass") spread apart with their hands. (I've racked my brain trying to remember which one of their titles it was, but I think I've forever blocked it from my mind.)

I don't automatically hate it, as it comes across in my first post. In some Anabolic/Diabolic titles, however, there seems to me to be a subtle (or not so subtle) "power trip" intended for the viewer behind the act. Eye of the beholder, you might say.

Who knew one could talk so much about ass-licking, outside of promotion time?
