Carter Stevens (R.I.P.) a real down to earth guy from The Golden Age Of Porn. My favorite film that he directed was Jailbait (1976) Command Video, I also liked Punk Rock (1977) both these films starred Wade Nichols who Carter spoke very highly of " A very nice man that never got mad. His daughter had pictures of his posted over her walls in her her bedroom while he was on the Day Time Soap Opera Edge Of Night" this was the response that I received from him over on the now defunct forum DVD/Maniacs where there was a thread dedicated to him. I would also go on to ask him where did he find one shot wonder Tina Lynn (Jailbait (1976) his response ( A back page ad from a New York News Paper) Tina Lynn would also go on to appear in Playboy in article about adult film stars). Like the late Adult Film Historian said " Carter Stevens did not have the large budget that a lot of the film producers in the adult film industry had". He would also appear in films like Cecil Howard's Platinum Paradise (1980) as Steven Mitchell and performed with Robin Storrs. He also was Steven Mitchell in a non sex role in the very first XXX Movie that I ever had ever seen Hot Dallas School Girls (1981) at Theater in Washington DC (1981).
To anyone that is a fan of The Golden Age Of Porn 1970-1985 any film Directed By Carter Stevens where he gives commentary on available on DVD go ahead purchase right away he makes feel like you're right there, he will definitely be missed !!!!
