If anyone's interested it looks like Red Light District is using watermarks. Just saw "Down with Whitey" and it had a a vince voyuer logo throughout the movie. I HATE THOSE THINGS! They're distracting and always stand out to me. AAAggghhh!!!!

There have been watermarks on Vince Vouyer DVD's since April. I hope that they have saved him money in some way, because they have cost him having me as a regular customer.

visible watermarks ? I think someone misunderstood the sense of digital watermarks over there. There are methods to include a digital watermark into pictures which are resistent against compression and some noise.

or is it just simple advertisement ? well, ok, then it's understandable :)

Ya they are visable, Jules Jordan, Erik Everhard, Vince V, and even some amateur companies use watermarks too. JJ quite using them last I heard and Erik said here he won't be using them any more. As for VV, no idea, last movie I seen of his was Young Ripe Mellons #5 and it had one - however it was VERY small...
