It was Rocco (appaently married to a Hungarian and haveing moved there long ago from Italy) who discovered Prague. He first shot there in 1995 (Rocco Goes to Prague) and returned in 1998 to shoot/discover Laura Angel amongst others (Rocco Ravishes Prague 1). From than on Prague was a must for porn producers wanting to shoot hot girls in Europe, it seems. Now, in 2000 Rocco travelled to Warsaw (Rocco Invades Poland) to shoot some new hot talent. But Poland was no porn place to be heard of since. Strange enough. Rocco tries it again three years later and travels to Moscow I suppose (Rocco Ravishes Russia). Again he stays the only one to film there; again no fellow up Rocco Ravishes Russia-tapes. I wonder why Rocco succeded in Prague, but neither in Warsaw nor Moscow, despite most of his new discoveries showing willigness, talent, freshness and beauty. I doubt Prague was better prepared to a guy like Rocco in 1995 than Warsaw and Moscow in 2000 and 2003. What is the secred behind his Czech success and his Polish and Russian failure? Maybe I am the only one who would like to watch more Polish and Russian girls in porn... [Link] |

I agree that I would like to see more from Poland, as that was one of Rocco's most successful movies. I also greatly enjoyed Rocco's trip to Russia, which produced a movie in a similar vein. However, he's not the only one to shoot in Russia, as Pierre Woodman shot scenes there years ago, as did Seventeen. More recently, on the same trip Rocco made Rocco Ravishes Russia, Teo AKA Franco Roccaforte shot Chasin Tail 5 (which actually credits Rocco on camera) and though I haven't seen them, I gather Sineplex have made a further number of titles in Russia.
