As to Rocco, I thought he was born in 1963, but his latest biography indicates he was born in 1964, meaning he will be 40 next year. He almost retired from in front of the camera a few years ago, because he was bored with it all. But guys like Nacho and Manuel Ferrara, with their energetic attitudes, revived Rocco. The girls in Euro porn also became more outgoing (perhaps in part because of the new, better guys), which also helped keep Rocco interested.
You might suggest he is "going soft," but I would suggest that he was bored making generic, "treat the girl like a live blowup doll" scenes, to the point he almost quit the business. But in recent years their has been the chance to shoot some genuine passion, with a real interaction between people undergoing intense sexual experience, and this has kept Rocco in the game. For me, personally, something like Rocco : Live in Prague is some of the best work he has ever done, and I hope to see more movies like it.
