Is the film really like a documentary, or is it just film of Rocco talking about porn stuff? Like, does it show scenes from his life outside of porn, things like that? Who does he talk to in the film, a journalist, if you can tell? I might be interested in having a look at this, but I'd like more info first.

So what would then make this Blobhard documentary interesting? Well, it would be the making of the "making of" film! A behind the scenes of the footage arranged to look like a "behind the scenes" movie! Pretty cool, really, and a possible very engrossing as well (and then again, maybe just more meta-fiction, who knows?). I would think, if you could get your hands on a copy of True Stories , and watch them together, the material in Blobhard would become familiar and understandable.

To address questions: No, it does not show scenes from his non-porno life, of course that *may* be what he is talking about.

A title introduces each new scene. And in them you see Rocco sitting at an editing console while the scene plays on a monitor sort of next to him and behing him and he speaks in Italian. Sometimes the scene goes to full screen, and if I remember correctly (I refuse to review this tape untill I find a transcript or a translator, because hearing someone talk at me in a language I can't understand a word of can be a chore) some of it involves split-screen stuff. I don't remember any of the scenes seeing particularly sexy and I got the sense that Rocco might have been bitching about how they went. Anything called "gang bang flop" can not be good, unless the Italians use the word "flop" to mean something positive.

I also have never seen this tape (there *could* be a DVD) anywhere (in person) and any adult shops aside from the one I worked at in downtown Toronto, and I'm assuming we sold it because of the large Italian population, and the woman who owned my store was Italian herself, come to think of it.

Anyway, if any kind hearted Italian speaking ADTers in Central Pennsylvania are curious about viewing this goddamn confounding tape drop me a note.
